The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Pharmazie 42, 356 (1987). TLC of Rotenoids (terphrosin, sumatrol, rotenone, deguelin, dehydro-deguelin) on silica with chloroform - ether 95:5 or with chloroform - ethyl acetate - acetic acid 196:3:1. Vizualisation by spraying with hydroiodic reagent and heating at 120°C for 20 min.
J.A.O.A.C. 70, 836-840 (1987). TLC of iminodibenzyl and iminostilbene in carbamazepine drug substances and tablets on silica with toluene. Detection under UV 254 nm and by spraying with 0.5% potassium dichromate in 20% aqueous sulfuric acid. Detection limits 0.05 µg each.

Biochemical Systematics and Ecology 16, 43-46 (1988). TLC of lipophilic flavones (5,6,4'-trihydroxy-7,8,3'-trimethoxyflavone (thymonin) and 5,6,4'-trihydroxy-7,3'-dimethoxyflavone on silica with toluene - acetic acid 4:1, toluene - dioxane - acetic acid 90:25:4.
J. Microchem. 37, 174-180 (1988). TLC of cholesterol, cholesteryl formate, cholesteryl acetate, cholesteryl propianate on silica with 5 solvent systems (e.g. hexane - chloroform - ether - methanol - acetic acid 2:15: 60:5:2 or hexane - chloroform - ether - methanol - acetic acid - 1-propanol 920:15:6:2:2:3. Detection by spraying with 30 g copper acetate in 80 mL H3PO4 made up to 1 L and heating at 130°C for 5 min.
J. of Natural Products 51, 504-508 (1988). TLC of cucurbitacin B on silica and silica PF254 with ethyl acetate - methanol - water 10:1:3 (upper layer) and chloroform - methanol 11:0.4. Detection with VAP reagent (2% ethanol solution of vanillin, 85% o-phosphoric acid and ethanol 1:2:8) and heating for 10 min. at 120°C, examination under UV 365 nm.
