The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Chinese J. Pharm. (Zhongguo Yaoxue Zazhi) 30, 487-489 (1991). TLC on silica with propanol - NH3 - water 15:13:5. Detection and identification by spraying with a solution of 9-phenyl-2,3,7-trihydroxy-6-fluorone in ethanol. Discussion of the detection limits.
Phytochemistry 43, 215-228 (1996). TLC of several members of the class of natural phlobatannins on silica with chloroform - hexane - acetone - methanol 12:5:2:1. Detection by sulfuric acid - formaldehyde. Prep. TLC of methylated and acetylated derivatives on silica with hexane - acetone - ethyl acetate 2:2:1 or hexane - toluene - acetone - methanol 4:12:3:1. Compounds were recovered from the absorbent with acetone.
J. AOAC Int. 79, 628-635 (1996). TLC of allantoin in pharmaceuticals on silica with e.g. methanol - acetone - formic acid - water 40:2:1:6 and in urine on cellulose with butanol - acetic acid - water 2:1:1. Detection with pDMAB (Ehrlich's reagent). Quantification by densitometry at 445 nm. TLC as fast and inexpensive semiquantitative method for estimation of allantoin in natural samples.
J. Chinese Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 27, 115, 123 (1996). TLC of resina Scammoniac in different samples on silica with chloroform - methanol 19:1. Detection under UV 365 nm. Identification by comparison of the chromatograms, or the scanning densitograms.
J. Chromatogr. A, 740, 99-107 (1996). TLC on silica with 1) toluene - ethyl formiate - formic acid 5:4:1, and 2) ethyl acetate - formic acid - water 20:2:1. Detection by dipping into diphenylboric acid 2-aminoethyl ester solution, and by fluorodensitometry. Investigation of the effect of different substances on the intensity and stability of the fluorescence. Comments on the procedure for measurement, and discussion of the correlation between fluorescence and molecular structure.
3rd Communication: Identification of metabolites in rat urine. Arzneim.-Forsch./Drug Res. 46, 127-133 (1996). TLC of montirelin hydrate and 3 metabolites (deamidation and deprolination products) on silica with ethanol - 0.1 N hydrochloric acid 10:3 and chloroform - ethanol - 28% NH3. Detection by autoradiography, visualization of authentic compounds and nonradioactive metabolites under UV 240 nm.
Phytochemistry 48, 525-528 (1998). TLC of triterpenoid saponins containing up to 5 sugar moieties on RP-18 with 75% aqueous methanol. TLC of less polar saponins on silica gel with chloroform - methanol 2:1.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 11, 74-76 (1998). TLC of dichlorvos on silica gel with hexane - acetone - methanol 16:6:1. Detection after drying at room temperature by spraying with 2% sodium hydroxide solution, then with 2% 2-thiobarbituric acid solution and heating at 90°C for approx. 10 min. Semiquantitative determination against standards.
