The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Hexane - methanol - ethyl acetate 85:10:5 was found to be the most suitable for the separation of lantadene A, B, C, D, reduced lantadene A and B. Detection by spraying with Liebermann-Burchard reagent, vanillin - sulfuric acid reagent, and pimulin.

Detection by spraying with 5-10% phosphomolybdic acid in ethanol, or with Dragendorff reagent, and by densitometry. Investigation of the effect of temperature and relative humidity on retention.

TLC of isomeric o-aroylbenzoic acids, 2-(3-bromo-4-hydroxybenzoyl)benzoic acid, 2-(3-bromo-2-hydroxybenzoyl)benzoic acid, their methyl esters and benzophenones and related anthraquinones) on silica with toluene - dioxane - acetic acid 100:3:1. I. Acta Chimica 129, 871-877 (1992). TLC of thyrotropin hormone on silica with chloroform - methanol 9:1 or ethyl acetate - stock 6:4 (stock solution = pyridine - acetone - water 20:5:11).
J. Planar Chromatogr. 6, 147-148 (1993). TLC of sulfonamides (i.a. sulfadimidine, sulfadoxine, sulfamethoxypyridazine, sulfadimerazine, sulfadimethoxine) on silica with chloroform - butanol 4:1. Detection after treatment with fluorescamine solution under UV 366 nm.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 6, 372-377 (1993). TLC of phenol, 2-cresol, 4-cresol, 1-naphthol, and leachates (after oxidative coupling with 3-methyl-2-benzothiazolinone hydrazone, MBTH) on silica with dichloroethane. For certain phenols with very similar Rf values increased resolution could be achieved by multiple elution. In-house evaluation was performed by densitometry in absorbance mode at 500 nm.
Anal. Biochem. 210, 106-112 (1993). TLC of the radiolabeled neutral glycan fractions of glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) protein anchors and related glycolipids on silica with butanol - ethanol - water 4:3:3, or a combination of 1-propanol - acetone - water 9:6:5 and 5:4:1. Detection by spraying with 20 mg/mL orcinol monohydrate in ethanol - conc. sulfuric acid - water 15:2:1 and heating for 5 min. at 110 °C.
