The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords

Investigation on the synthesis of polyphenols and phytoalexins in root infected potato tubers. (German). Biochemie und Physiologie der Pflanzen 184, 277-284 (1989). TLC of phytoalexins on silica with cyclohexane - ethyl acetate 1:1. Detection by UV 254 nm and 366 nm, by exposing to iodine vapor and by spraying with vanillin - sulfuric acid reagent.
Merck Spectrum (Darmstadt) 2, 61 (1988). TLC determination of barbiturates (hexo-, amo-, cyclo- and phenobarbital) on silica with chloroform - acetone 1:1. Spray reagent: 5 g mercury(II)oxide suspended in 100 mL water, 20 mL conc. sulfuric acid added with stirring. After cooling the reagent is diluted to 250 mL with water (Reagent I). 100 mg of diphenylcarbazone dissolved in 100 mL chloroform (Reagent II). Visualization by spraying with I, drying, spraying with II and under UV 366 nm.

TLC separation and purification of azido glycols on silica with ethyl acetate - water - butanol - acetic acid - hexane 25:25:25:25:80, methanol - chloroform 1:9, ethyl acetate - hexane 1:1, ether - hexane 1:1 and 8:2, methanol - chloroform 5:95 and 8:92, ethyl acetate, methanol - chloroform 75:93 and 15:85. Detection by spraying with ninhydrin or phosphomolybdic acid reagent.
Biochemical Systematics and Ecology 17, 455-457 (1989). TLC on polyamide with benzene - MEK - methanol 30:13:7. Visualization under UV before and after spraying with diphenyl borate-ethanol-amine complex in 50% methanol.
J. Chromatogr. 472, 318-320 (1989). Two-dimensional TLC of 4-N,N-dimethyl-aminoazobenzene 4'-isothiocyanate derivatives of protein on polyamide with acetic acid - water 1:2 for the first direction and toluene - hexane - acetic acid 2:1:1 for the 2nd. Presentation of TLC patterns for proline, alanine, lysine and histidine. Discussion of reasons for the formation of these by-products.
