The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword

TLC of guarana oil components (i.a. carvacrol, estragole, anethole, limonene, caryophyllene, copaene) on silica with chloroform or benzene; detection by spraying with anisaldehyde and with phosphomolybdic acid solution. For TLC of urinary metabolites of guarana a mixture of butanol - acetic acid - water 4:1:5 was used for ninhydrin-positive substances, and ethyl acetate - methanol - NH3 85:10:59 for amphetamines.
Phytochemistry 48, 1179-1185 (1998). HPTLC and TLC of new (-coumaranones on silica gel with the lower layer of chloroform - methanol - water 13:7:2. Preparative TLC of the products of enzymatic hydrolysis on silica gel with chloroform and with benzene - acetone 50:1. Detection under UV 254 nm and with 1% ceric sulfate solution. Solvent system suitable for many other types of phenolic glycosides.
J. Chromatogr. B 706, 149-156 (1998). TLC of cyanocobalamin derivatives on silica gel with 2-butanol - acetonitrile - water 143:1:56. Identification by using Rf values in comparison to retention times in RP-HPLC.
J. Chinese Herb. Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 29, 18-20 (1998). TLC on silica gel with butanol - acetic acid - water 9:2:3. Detection by spraying with 2% ninhydrin and heating at 105°C for 5 min. Identification by finger print technique, comparison to the extracts of the individual constituent drug material.
Planta med. 70, 143-146 (2004). Analytical and preparative TLC of hispidin (6-(3,4-dihydroxystyryl)-4-hydroxy-2-pyrone) on silica gel with benzene - ethyl acetate - acetic acid 10:1:1. Detection by spraying with iron(III) chloride reagent.
Evaluation of their effects on the reversal of multidrug resistance. Planta med. 70, 45-49 (2004). TLC of i. a. portlandicine (2a,5a,14a,17a-tetraacetoxy-3ß-benzoyloxy-15ß-hydroxy-9-oxoparaliane), 1ß,5a,14a,17a-tetraacetoxy-3ß-benzoyloxy-15-ß-hydroxy-9-oxo-paraliane, and oleanolic acid on silica gel with dichloromethane - methanol 99:1 by 3-fold development and 49:1 as well as chloroform by 5-fold development. Visualization under UV light at 254 nm and by spraying with sulfuric acid - acetic acid - water 1:20:4 followed by heating.
