The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords

TLC of 27 corticosteroids on silica with 13 mobile phases; e.g. laboratorymade plates with dichloromethane - ether - methanol - water 77:15:8:1.2 (first development) and ether - toluene - butanol-1, saturated with water 80:15:5; acetic acid - carbon tetrachloride - heptane 4:3:3; 1-butanol - acetic acid - water 6:2:2. Detection under UV at 254 nm followed by spraying with a 20% ethanolic solution of sulfuric acid and heating at 120 °C for 10 min. or until the spots appeared. Examination in daylight and under UV 365 nm.
J. Chromatogr. 639, 295-302 (1993). TLC identification of limonoids and limonoid glucosides on silica with cyclohexane - ethyl acetate 2:3, dichloromethane - methanol 49:1, ethyl acetate - dichloromethane 2:3. Detection by spraying with Ehrlich's reagent. Identification by comparison of Rf values with those of standards.

Biochemical Systematics and Ecology 22, 353-365 (1994). TLC of ethanol extracts on silica with ethyl acetate - heptane 1:1, dichloromethane - ethanol 9:1, butanol - acetic acid - water 6:3:1. Visualization by spraying with 5% vanillin-sulfuric acid reagent followed by heating.
Chromatographia 39, 587-590 (1994). TLC of flavonoids of the apigenin series on silica with benzene - MEK - methanol 11:6:3. Detection under 254 nm, and by spraying with 96% sulfuric acid and heating at 120 °C. Determination also by HPLC, and qualification and quantification of camomile oil compounds by GC-MS after semi-preparative TLC isolation.
J. Liquid Chromatogr. 17, 2457-2468 (1994). TLC of histamine on silica with ethanol - NH3 8:2. Detection and identification by spraying with 1) a solution of 0.25 g PtCl6, 5 g KI, and diluting to 100 mL with water - hydrochloric acid 100:2; 2) a solution of 0.5 g ninhydrin in 100 mL acetone; 3) a solution of 12.5 mg fluorescamine in 100 mL acetone. Determination by HPLC.
