Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS

Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.

The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

  • Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
  • Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
  • Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
  • Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications

Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.

      I. AKIRA, I. HIDEJI

Shoyakugaku Zasshi 37, 195-197 (1983). TLC of alkaloids in 21 coptis rhizomes on silica with benzene - ethyl acetate - propanol - methanol - ethylamine 8:2:2:1:1 for protoberberine alkaloids without phenolic-OH groups, and methanol - water NH3 8:1:1 for those with phenolic-OH groups. Detection by UV.

      N. MILLER, H. PRETORIUS, D. TRINDER

      J.A.O.A.C. 68, 136-137 (1985). Estimation of aflatoxins B1, B2, G1, G2 on silica with 1) chloroform - acetone 9:1 and 2) ether - methanol - water 96:3:1 in unsaturated tanks. Detection by UV and comparison with standards.

Application of principal components analysis to TLC data for 596 basic and neutral drugs in four eluent systems
      G. MUSUMARRA, G. SCARLATA, G. ROMANO, S. CLEMENTI, S. WOLD

      J. Chromatogr. Sci. 22, 538-547 (1984). Principal component analysis (PCA) with Rf values for 596 basic and neutral drugs in 4 eluent mixtures on silica. Two-component model explaining 77 % of the total variance. Each drug is characterized on a plane by two principal component scores. For the identification of unknowns the method provides a drastically reduced short list of possible candidates. The 4 eluent systems are: a) methanol - NH3 100:1.5, b) cyclohexane - toluene - diethylamine 75:15:10, c) chloroform - methanol 9:1, d) acetone.

      J. Chromatogr. 324, 43l-435 (1985). TLC of eleven pairs of Pt(II) and Pd(II) square-planar complexes on silica with 28 solvent systems. Comparison of the Rf-values of trans isomers to those of cis isomers. Discussion of the mechanism of separation with different solvent systems.
