The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords

J. Planar Chromatogr. 6, 117-120 (1993). TLC of 16 heterocyclic nitrogen compounds on RP-2, RP-8, and RP-18 silica with methanol water mixtures; detection under UV or visualization with Dragendorff’s reagent.
J. Chinese Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 26, 301-303 (1993). Extraction with water, ethanol, toluene and benzene. Identification by TLC on silica with butanol - ethanol - water - acetaldehyde - ethyl acetate 24:12:4:20:30. Detection by spraying with 0.2 % ninhydrin in ethanol and heating at 105 °C for 10 min.
Phytochemistry 33, 1485-1487 (1993). 2D-TLC of tannin polymer hydrolysates on cellulose with 1) tert-butanol - acetic acid - water 3:1:1 and 2) 6% aq. acetic acid. Detection with 4% vanillin in methanol - conc. HCl 4:1.
Biochemical Systematics and Ecology 21, 621-623 (1993). TLC of 6´-O-ß-D-glucosylasperuloside on silica with butanol saturated with water.
Sanguisorba alpina.) (Chinese). J. Chinese Herb. Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 24, 451-454 (1993). TLC of ethanol extracts of Sanguisorba alpina on silica with petrol ether - acetone in different ratios. Preparation of the separated zones by elution and crystallization. Identification of 11 constituents by measuring their physical-chemical parameters, and by IR and NMR.
Phytochemistry 36, 133-137 (1994). TLC of a saponin mixture on silica with ethyl acetate - methanol - water 5:4:1; on RP-18 with acetonitrile - water 1:1 and on cellulose with butanol - acetic acid - water 4:1:5. Detection with 1% ceric sulfate in 1 M sulfuric acid. Cellulose TLC chromatograms were sprayed with aniline phthalate reagent. Excellent separation conditions for saponins and related terpenoid glycosides.

TLC of carotenoids (ß-carotene, lutein, neoxanthin, violaxanthin, ß-cryptoxanthin, zeaxanthin, capsanthin, capsorubin - as esters) on silica with hexane - ethyl acetate - ethanol - acetone 95:3:2:2; co-chromatography; observation under UV 254 and 366 nm.
