The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Fres. J. Anal. Chem. 338, 54-57 (1990). TLC of Au(III), Pt(IV), Pd(II) and of associated base metals such as Cr(III), Mn(II), Fe(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Mg, Ca, Ba, Al. Bi(III), Pb(II), Zn(II) and Ag(I) coexisting in an extremely wide range of amounts and ratios on cellulose. Application of the method to synthesized samples, Pt-metal powder and two kinds of Au-alloys. 6 different visualizing reagents. Examination of the influence of varying H2O2 concentrations in the mobile phase and of the age of sample solutions.
Phytochemistry 30, 3625- 3629 (1991). TLC of polyhydroxylated xanthones and their glycosides on silica with ethyl acetate - petrol ether 1:1 cont. 0.05% TFA and with chloroform - methanol 7:3; and HPTLC on RP-8 with methanol - water 9:1 and on RP-18 with methanol - water 3:2. Detection by spraying with 5% KOH in methanol. Also column chromatography and medium pressure liquid chromatography.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 3, 511-514 (1990). Chromatography of aromatic amines on silica impregnated with picric acid has been performed using cyclohexane - benzene mixtures as eluents. The best results were obtained with cyclohexane - benzene 1:5 on silica impregnated by development with a solution of 1.0% picric acid in methanol. Mutual separation of carbazole, p-phenylenediamine, and p-toluidine from synthetic mixtures containing variable amounts of the compounds has been realized. The method is rapid, and useful for separation amines at microgram as well as milligram levels.
(Hungarian). Magyar Kémiai Folyóirat 97, 266-276 (1990). TLC of 8-dodecen-1-ylisomeric mixtures on silica with toluene - ethyl acetate 10:2, cyclohexane - acetone 10:2 or 1:1. Detection by spraying with iodine solution.
Phytochemistry 31, 2127-2130 (1992). TLC of the major anthocyanins of Iponoea batata on microcrystalline cellulose with acetic acid – hydrochloric acid – water 15:3:82, ethyl acetate – acetic acid – water 3:1:1, ethyl acetate – pyridine – water 15:7:5 and phenol – formic acid – water 75:1:25. Detection by UV for the anthocyanins and with aniline hydrogen phthalate for reducing sugars.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 5, 64-66 (1992). TLC of 21 fatty acids on silica with e.g. hexane – acetic acid – water 100:5:5 (with up to 5 ascending developments. Visualization with 50% sulfuric acid followed by charring; with 10% copper sulfate in 8% phosphoric acid followed by heating; or by standing in iodine vapor for 10 min. Polyunsaturated fatty acids with chain lengths from 18 carbons with 2 double bonds up to 24 carbons with 6 double bonds have been separated, as a group, from both saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids of corresponding carbon chain length.
Biochemical Systematics and Ecology 19, 595-598 (1991). TLC of alkaloids on silica with chloroform – cyclohexane – butylamine 5:4:1 and on aluminium oxide with 1,5% methanol in chloroform. Visualization after heating at 100 °C for 3 min, under UV 254 and 365 nm, and by spraying with iodoplatinate reagent.
