The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword

Detection by densitometry after dipping in 5% sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating. Identification of the variaty of ginseng medicines by „peak grouping“.

TLC of 2,4-DNPH-one derivatives of aliphatic monocarbonyls on silica or aluminium oxide with benzene - hexane 1:1 and chloroform - cyclohexane - ethyl acetate 10:2:1. TLC of 2,4-DNPH-one derivatives of aromatic monocarbonyls on silica with petrol ether (60-80°C) - benzene - ethyl acetate 2:1:1, TLC of 2,4-DNPH-one derivatives of other carbonyls on silica with toluene - ethyl acetate 3:1 or 1:1. Visualization by spraying with 5% ethanolic solution of KOH.
J. of Natural Products 51 1092-1097 (1988). TLC of caratubersides A and B on silica with chloroform - methanol - water 75:25:2 and butanol - acetone - water 12:3:5. Detection by spraying with ceric sulfate reagent.

alba. Planta 174, 59-66 (1988). TLC of geraniol, farnesol, geranylgeraniol and prephytoene alcohol on silica with ethyl acetate - conc. NH3 - isopropanol 3:3:4 on silica impregnated with 5% paraffin in petrol ether (60-80°C) with methanol - water 80:20 saturated with paraffin. The bands were located with a spark chamber, eluted and radioassayed.
J. Chromatogr. 442, 459-463 (1988). One- and two-dimensional TLC of thyrostatics on silica with chloroform - acetone 7:3 for the first direction and ethyl acetate for the second. Detection by spraying with palladium (II)-calcein reagent and inspection under UV 365 nm. Identification by comparison of Rf values in different solvent systems. Detection limit, 200 ppb for 6-methyl-2-thiouracil.
J. of Natural Products 52, 119-129 (1989). TLC of vertixanthone, hydroxyvertixanthone, vertipyronol and vertipyronediol on silica with Skellysolve B - benzene 3:1 and Skellysolve B - benzene - methanol 5:5:1. Detection under UV 254 nm and 350 nm or by spraying with a solution of phosphomolybdic acid (5%) containing a trace of ceric sulfate in aqueous sulfuric acid (5%) followed by heating.
