The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords

Detection after drying by spraying with 1 % methanolic diphenylboryl-oxyethylamine solution and consecutively with 5 % methanolic Macrogol 400 R solution. Examination under UV 365 nm.
J. Chromatogr. 357, 139-146 (1986). TLC of insulin on cellulose with pyridine - butanol - amyl alcohol - MEK - formic acid - acetic acid - water 25:20:15:10:3:3:25. Detection by spraying with acid violet 6B and scanning at 530 nm.
J. Agric. Food Chem. 35, 138-144 (1987). TLC of vamidothion (0,0-dimethyl-S-(2-((1-(methyl carbamoyl)ethyl)thio)ethyl)phosphorothioate) and metabolites on silica in one- and two-dimensional mode with 7 solvent systems, e.g. acetonitrile - methanol 9:1, acetonitrile - water 85:15, dichloromethane - ethanol 9:1. Detection by UV 254 nm or spraying with either 0.5 % 2,6-dibromo-N-chloro-p-benzoquinoneimine in cyclohexane or 0.25 % palladium chloride in 0.2 N HCl. Radioscanning.

TLC of monosaccharide dabsylhydrazones on silica with e.g. water saturated n-butanol - triethylamine 30:1, acetonitrile - benzene - ethyl acetate 15:15:1 or benzene - CHCl3 - EtOH 15:15:10. Dabsylhydrazones of D-glucose, palactose, mannose, fructose, arabinose, xylose, ribose, deoxyribose, glycerose.

Talanta 34, 167-174 (1987). 1-dimensional TLC of blockcopolymers on silica with 1) benzene, 2) chloroform - MEK 6:3 or 6:1, 3) cyclohexane - toluene 7:3 or 7:5, 2-dimensional TLC with benzene and chloroform - methanol 97:3. Detection by spraying with 1) 3 % KMnO4 in concentrated H2SO4 and heating at 180 °C for 5-10 min. 2) modified Dragendorff reagent, 3) 10 % KOH and heating at 150 °C for 10-15 min.
New 4-phenylcoumarins from Exostema caribaeum. J. of Natural Products 50, 866-871 (1987). TLC after extraction of 5-O-ß-D-galactosyl-7-methoxy-3',4'-dihydroxy-4-phenylcoumarin, 7,4',5'-trihydroxy-4-phenyl-5,2'-oxido-coumarin and 7,4'-dimethoxy-5'-hydroxy- 4-phenyl-5,2'-oxido-coumarin on silica with ethyl acetate - methanol - water 12:1:3. Visualization by UV or by spraying with 0.4N sulfuric acid or anisaldehyde reagent.
