The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

A. solvent = 7 g ammoniumcarbonate in 100 mL conc. NH3, B. solvent = 10 g ammoniumchloride + 2 mL water in 50 mL conc. NH3. Detection with Dragendorff reagent, densitometry at 525 nm. Detection limit 0.02 µg.
J. China Assoc. Instr. Anal. (Fenxi Ceshi Tongbao) 11, 74-77 (1992). TLC of the composition of protein and lipid in chemically modified keratin fibers on silica with chloroform - methanol 80:2. Detection by exposure to iodine vapor. Also polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 4, 365-369 (1991). TLC and HPTLC separation of 8 thiazin dyes (thionine, azure A, azure B, azure C, methylene blue, new methylene blue, toluidine blue, methylene violet) on silica with 1-butanol - acetic acid - water in different ratios. Optimum solvent for all dyes except methylene violet 1-butanol - formic acid - water 10:1:1. Quantification by densitometry.

Comparison of detection reagents for phenols and a- and ß-naphthols after separation on silica, a mixture of silica/Kieselguhr and polyamide 11 with heptane - benzene - ether 1:1:1. Visualization agents: Spadns, titan yellow, eosin, helasol green as solutions in aqueous sodium hydroxide solution; dimethyl yellow and thymol-phthalein in methanol after previous treatment with aqueous sodium hydroxide solution. Reagent most suitable for the detection of the greatest number of the compounds tested was dimethyl yellow.
Phytochemistry 32, 1543-1547 (1993). HPTLC of triterpenoid saponins on silica with butanol - acetic acid - water 12:3:5. Detection with 0.1% Ce(SO4)2 in 2 N sulfuric acid. Analysis of the sapogenins after hydrolysis of the saponins by HPTLC with chloroform - ethyl acetate 1:1 and of the sugars with butanol - 2-propanol - ethyl acetate - acetic acid - water 35:60:100:35:30. Detection with aniline phthalate.
