The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Phytochemistry 30, 1405-1408 (1991). TLC of non-acidic indoles on silica with hexane - MEK - 3:7 or benzene - ethyl acetate 9:1. Separation of acidic indoles on cellulose with isopropanol - NH3 - water 10:1:1 or butanol - acetic acid - water 12:3:5. Detection with p-dimethylaminocinnamaldehyde (DMAC) in ethanolic acid.
J. Agric. Food Chem. 39, 588-593 (1991). TLC of carbofuran and metabolites on silica with petrol ether - chloroform - ethanol 2:2:1. Detection after autoradiography by liquid scintillation.
Deutsche Apotheker Zeitung 130, 2264-2265 (1990). TLC of glycyrrhizinic acid, liquiritine and isoliquiritine on silica with ethyl acetate - ethanol 65:25 or water - NH3 9:1. Detection by spraying with anisaldehyde reagent and under UV 254 and 366 nm.
Chromatographia 31, 247-250 (1991). HPTLC of the flavonoid glycosides and biflavonoids of cypress leaves on RP-18 silica with water - methanol - acetic acid 50:50:6. Detection by spraying with 1% methanolic solution of ethanol amine diphenylborate and 5% ethanolic solution of polyethylene glycol 400, and under UV 360 nm. Also, HPTLC on silica with benzene - pyridine - formic acid 100:20:7. Detection by spraying with 1% ethanolic AlCl3. Quantification (densitometry in fluorescence at 365 nm).
J. of Natural Products 54, 986-992 (1991). TLC of culture extracts of Stevia rebaudiana on silica with ethyl acetate - isopropanol - water 11:4:2, ethyl acetate - acetic acid - water 8:3:2 and chloroform - methanol - water 15:10:2. Detection by spraying with vanillin - sulfuric acid reagent. Excellent TLC method for the detection of steviol glucosides in plant or cell culture extracts. Also preparative TLC using the same solvent systems.
(Hungarian). Magyar Kémiai Folyoirat 97, 143-148 (1991). TLC of 5-aminosalicylic acid and glucopyranosyl derivatives on silica with butanol - acetic acid - water - pyridine 15:3:12:10, acetone - acetic acid - petrol ether 10:1:10, benzene - ethyl acetate 1:1, ethyl acetate - butanol - acetic acid - water 7:3:3:3 and benzene - methanol 8:2. Detection by spraying with 5 % sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating at 120 °C, and with 5 % Fe(III)chloride in water and 0.2 % ninhydrin in ethanol.
Herba Hungarica 30, 91-95 (1991). TLC of cyanidin, (+)-cathecin and (-)-epikatechin on silica with toluene – ethyl formate – formic acid 5:4:1 or butanol – water – acetic acid 4:5:1. Visualization by spraying with thymol – sulfuric acid reagent (0.5 g thymol dissolved in 95 mL abs. alcohol and 5 mL conc. sulfuric acid) and heating at 110 °C for 5 min.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 5, 41-44 (1992). HPTLC of lipids (triolein, oleic acid, cholesterol, 1,3-diolein, 1,2-diolein, monoolein) on silica with hexane – ether – formic acid 60:30:2. Detection by in situ induction of fluorescence by immersion of the developed plate into a mixture of sulfuric acid – absolute ethanol – hexane 1:35:64 and heating at 110 °C for 45 min. Quantification by densitometry in fluorescence mode at 366/>400 nm. Detection limit 30 ng.
