The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Phytochemistry 42, 857-762 (1996). TLC of new proanthocyanidins on silica with ethyl acetate - formic acid - water 18:1:1. Detection with vanillin - HCl reagent of 1 % ethanolic FeCl3 solution. Isolation of acetylated derivatives by prep. TLC on silica with toluene - acetone 7:3.
J. AOAC Int. 79, 1009-1011 (1996). TLC of pesticides (bromophos, chlorpyrifos, diazinon, dimethoate, ethion, fenitrothion, fenthion, malathion, parathion-ethyl, parathion-methyl, phorate, pirimiphos-methyl, and quinalphos) on silica in a TLC chamber saturated with petrol ether (60-80 °C) - ether 17:3 with 2,2,4-trimethyl-pentane - acetone - chloroform 12: 5:1. Visualization after drying by spraying with the chromogenic reagent (0.3 g 4-amino-N,N-diethylaniline dihydrochloride in 20 mL ethanol), drying again and subsequently keeping for abt 5 s in a chamber containing bromine vapors. Detection limits between 0.05 and 0.50 µg. New simple and sensitive TLC method.
J. Chin. Trad. Med. (Zhongguo Zhongyao Zazhi) 20, 226-227 (1995). TLC on silica with the upper phase of butanol - ethyl acetate - water 4:1:5. Detection by spraying with 10 % sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating at 105 °C for 5 min. Identification of the two drugs by comparison.
Acta Pharmaceutica Hungarica 65, 203-207 (1995). TLC of ipriflavone on silica with chloroform - cyclohexane - ethyl acetate 9:8:3. Detection by exposure to iodine vapor or under UV 254 nm.
Dtsch. Apoth. Ztg. 136, 24-33 (1996). Micro-TLC (resp. Nano-TLC) of approx. 65 drugs (herbal extracts) from DAB 10 on silica in horizontal chambers using - whenever possible - official methods from the DAB and comparison of the results. Advantages are i. a. saving of money, time, solvents, and better suitability for the laboratory in pharmacies.

TLC of essential oils and 1,8-cineole, linalool, isononyl acetate, linalyl-4-aminobenzoate, bornyl acetate, 1-p-menthen-8-yl acetate, diphenyl ether, bisabolol, 1-terpinen-4-ol on silica gel with toluene - ethyl acetate 19:1. Visualization by spraying with anisaldehyde reagent and heating at 110°C for 10 min.
