Limit of detection 25 ng, good linear relationship within the range of 600 - 1300 ng, selectivity, precision, and accuracy make the method suitable for routine quality-control analysis.

Quantification by densitometry at 254 nm. Precision (relative standard deviation) was 1.58 and 1.26% for replicate analyses of two tablets. The error of standard addition analysis performed to evaluate accuracy was 0.506%.
