The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

J. Planar Chromatogr. 12, 225-227 (1999). HPTLC of reaction products between o-aminothiophenol and benzoylformic acid (i.a. phenylbenzothiazole) on silica gel with benzene - dichloromethane 4:1, benzene - methanol 3:7 and methanol. Detection under UV 254 and 366 nm.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 13, 123-129 (2000). TLC of 2-amino-5,6-dimethylbenzimidazoles, 2-aminobenzimidazoles, and 5,6-dimethylbenzimidazoles on layers of rice starch, cellulose and Aminoplast, a carbamide-formaldehyde polymer, with conc. NH3 - n-propanol in varying compositions for rice starch and cellulose resp. cyclohexane - acetone - conc. NH3 in varying concentrations for Aminoplast. Dark spots were observed under UV 254 nm.
Chin. J. Chem. 19, 378-380 (2001). TLC on silica gel with petroleum ether (30-60°C) - ethyl acetate 5:1. Visualization under UV and by exposure to iodine vapor.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 15, 56-58 (2002). TLC of triclocarban (3,4,4'-trichlorocarbanilide) on silica gel with n-hexane - ethanol 24:1. Quantification by densitometry at 260 nm. Limit of detection 25 ng, good linear relationship within the range of 600 - 1300 ng, selectivity, precision, and accuracy make the method suitable for routine quality-control analysis.
J. Liq. Chrom. & Rel. Technol. 24, 2873-2878 (2001). HPTLC of meclizine (1-[(4-chlorophenyl)phenylmethyl]-4-[(3-methylphenyl)methyl]piperazine) dihydrochloride on silica gel with n-butanol - deionized water - acetic acid 17:2:1. Quantification by densitometry at 254 nm. Precision (relative standard deviation) was 1.58 and 1.26% for replicate analyses of two tablets. The error of standard addition analysis performed to evaluate accuracy was 0.506%.
Indian Drugs 39 (8), 434-440 (2002). HPTLC on silica gel with chloroform - methanol - water 85:12:3. The method was validated for linearity (50 - 150 ng), accuracy and precision. A simple and rapid HPTLC method. Comparable with HPLC regarding sensitivity.
Proc. Intern. Symp. on Planar Separations Plan. Chrom. 185-189 (2003). OPLC of norsteroids (e.g. 19-nortestosterone, estradiol-methylether-acetate) on silica gel with different mixtures of toluene, chloroform, butyl acetate, and hexane, i.e. toluene - chloroform - cyclohexane - butyl acetate 55:3:40:2.Visualization by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating at 120°C for 2 min. Also visual evaluation under UV 254 and 366 nm before and after spraying. Use of a video documentation system.

Study of structure-activity relationship TLC of 12 differently substituted 2,4-dioxotetrahydro-1,3-thiazoles (4'-dimethylamino-benzylidene-, 1'-naphthylidene-, 2'-oxybenzylidene-, 3',4'-methylenedioxybenzylidene-, benzylidene-, 3'-thienylidene-, 3',4'-dimethoxybenzylidene-, 4'-bromobenzylidene-, 5'-methyl-2'-furfurylidene-, 4'-benzyloxybenzylidene-, 4'-ethoxybenzylidene-) on silica gel with hexane - ethyl acetate, hexane - acetone, and hexane - dioxane and on paraffin oil-impregnated silica gel with NH3 conc. - methanol, NH3 conc. - dioxane, and NH3 conc. - acetone in different ratios. Visualization under UV 254 nm.
