The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords

Journal of Natural Products 50, 19-22 (1987). TLC on silica with chloroform - methanol 98:2 for stigmasterol, sitosterol and palmitic acid, chloroform - methanol 80:20 for quercetin and p-coumaric acid, isopropanol - ethyl acetate - water 70:20:10 for tannic acid and sucrose, methanol - acetone 50:50 for penicillin, chloroform - methanol 90:10 for chloramphenicol, chloroform - ethanol - hexane - ethyl acetate 18:6:42:34 for the lignans, chloroform - ethanol - ethyl acetate - hexane 70:10:17:3 for the quassinoids and THF - dichloromethane 25:75 for the camptothecines. Plates incubated in humid atmosphere overnight; sprayed with any of the aqueous solutions 1) 2,3,5-triphenyltetrazoliumchloride, 2) p-iodo-nitrotetrazolium violet, 3) tetranitroblue tetrazolium or, 4) thiazolyl-thiazolium; plates incubated for another 4 hours at 37°C; plates treated with ethanol - water 7:3 before evaluating the bioautogram vizually.
