The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords

Detection 1) by spraying with 20% p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde in ethanol and heating at 105°C. Identification by finger print technique. Quantitation of total alkaloids by spectrophotometry. Discussion of the quality control of the medicine.
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. (Yaowu Fenxi Zazhi) 20 (4), 266-267 (2000). TLC on silica gel with diethyl ether - chloroform - acetic acid 7:2:1 gave better separation than the method employed in China pharmacopoeia. Detection limit 0.04 µg by spraying with 20% phosphomolybdic acid in ethanol and heating at 120°C for 2-3 min.

J. Chinese Trad. & Herb. Drugs (Zhongcaoyao) 32 (5), 447-449 (2001). TLC on silica gel with benzene - acetic acid - formic acid 30:1:3. Detection under UV 365 nm, and by spraying with 2% FeCl3 in 50% ethanol and 2% potassium ferricyanide in 50% ethanol. Identification by finger print technique.
