The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords

Chromatographia 52, 112-114 (2000). TLC on silica gel firstly with toluene - chloroform 4:1, then with toluene. Detection by spraying with anisaldehyde - sulfuric acid and heating at 120°C for 3 min. Quantitation by densitometry at 536 nm. Comparison of the results with those obtained by colorimetry.

Postchromatographic derivatization with anisaldehyde-sulfuric acid reagent. Densitometry at 254 and 366 nm.

Isolation of (+)-catechin by rotating chromatography on silica gel with toluene - ethyl acetate - formic acid 35:15:1. TLC on silica gel with ethyl acetate - water - formic acid 17:3:2 resp. n-hexane - ethyl acetate - formic acid 20:19:1. Detection under UV 366 nm (flavonoids, phenolic acids), spraying with vanillin/phosphoric acid reagent (catechins, proanthocyanidins) and spraying with 1,1-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (antioxidants). J. Planar Chromatogr. 14, 199-202 (2001). HPTLC of persilben (3,5-methoxy-2-hydroxy-E-stilbene) on silica gel and diol-modified silica gel with mixtures of hexane, chloroform and methanol for a two-step gradient program. Quantitation by densitometry at 360 nm.
J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 24 (4), 246-248 (2002). The dissolution quantities of ferulic acid in 60 min were determined by TLC on silica gel with hexane - chloroform - acetic acid 8:8:1. Detection under UV 365 nm. Quantitation by densitometry at 328 nm.
J. Agric. Food Chem. 50, 6697-6703 (2002). TLC of Lannea extracts, Quebracho and Mimosa tannins on RP-18 with acetonitrile - water 2:3. Detection under UV 254 and 280 nm and by spraying with vanillin/sulfuric acid and heating.

Detection by spraying with 50% phosphomolybdic acid in ethanol, and heating at 110°C for 5 min. Quantitation by densitometry at 610 nm and with the standard addition calibration method.
