Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 30, 164-169 (2017). HPTLC of hexyl nicotinate on silica gel with acetone ‒ n-hexane 3:7. Chemical stability analysis was performed in aqua–ethanolic solutions stored in ordinary and quartz flasks heated at 40 °C and exposed to UV radiation at 254 nm. The main products of chemical changes of hexyl nicotinate are the substances with hRf 37 and 68. Preliminary identification of the decomposition products was achieved by GC–MS analysis.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 31, 122-128 (2018). HPTLC of ondansetron with chloroform ‒ methanol ‒ ethyl acetate 7:2:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 302 nm. The hRf value for ondansetron was 67. Linearity was in the range of 25-500 ng/zone. The intermediate precision was below 1 % (n=3). The LOD and LOQ were 5 and 15 ng/zone, respectively. Average recovery was 100.3 %. The method allowed the separation of the drug from its different degradation products.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 31, 397-403 (2018). HPTLC of clozapine (1) and aripiprazole (2) on silica gel with toluene ‒ methanol ‒ ethyl acetate ‒ ammonia 65:25:10:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 218 nm. The hRF values for (1) and (2) were 43 and 60, respectively. Linearity was between 200 and 1600 ng/zone for (1) and 100 and 800 ng/zone for (2). LOD and LOQ were 34 and 103 ng/zone for (1) and 20 and 60 ng/zone for (2), respectively. The intermediate precision was <2 % (n=3). Recovery ranged between 98.2-99.9 % for (1) and 98.7-99.5 % for (2).
1. Separation on silica by thin-layer and high-performance liquid chromatography. J. Chromatogr. 328, 279-287 (1985). HPTLC of bis-quaternary aminosteroids (pipecuronium bromide and related steroids) on silica with methanol - acetonitrile - conc. NH3 514:386:100 containing 0.005 mole/l ammonium chloride and 0.08 mole/l ammonium carbonate. Detection by immersion of the plate in Dragendorff reagent. Densitometry by absorbance at 525 nm.
(Screening and detection of tetrazepam and its major metabolites.) Drug Res. 35, 1015-1 024 (1985). Preparative separation of tetrazepam (7-chloro-1,3-dihydro-1-methyl-5-(cyclohexene-1-yl)-2H-1,4-benzo diazepine-2-one) and metabolites on silica with ethyl acetate and analytical separation on silica with toluene. Detection after diazotation, spraying with Bratton-Marshall reagent, by UV 254 nm or with potassium iodoplatinate. Improvement of a known TLC procedure (developing solvent).
Detection by spraying with 1 % mercury nitrate, and 0.2 % diphenylcarbazone. Discussion of selecting the optimal system by a stepwise combination method.
J. Microchem. 32, 347-353 (1985). TLC determination of benfluron hydrochloride (5-(2-dimethylaminoethoxy)-7-oxo-7H-benzo(c)fluorene hydrochloride) on silica with chloroform - methanol -85 % formic acid 75:20:5. Detection under UV 254 nm.
J. Medical Chemistry 31, 1174-1178 (1988). TLC of N-[5-(2-methylene-3-)octadecylamino]-carbonyl-oxy-propoxycarbonyl pentyl-pyridinium bromide and 3-[6-(methylene-3-)octadecylamino]carbonyl-oxy- propoxycarbonyl hexyl-thiazolium bromide with chloroform - ethanol 1:1. Visualization by spraying with sulfuric acid and phosphomolybdic acid in ethanol.
