The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword

Identification by TLC on silica with butanol - ethanol - water - acetaldehyde - ethyl acetate 24:12:4:20:30. Detection by spraying with 0.2 % ninhydrin in ethanol and heating at 105 °C for 10 min.

Visualization under UV 254 nm or by spraying with an ethanolic solution of bromophenol blue. Quantification by densitometry at 233 nm (absorbance).

TLC of non-acidic compounds on DIOL plates with hexane - ethyl acetate - methanol 88:11:1, and TLC of acidic compounds on DIOL plates with chloroform - hexane - methanol 59:39:2. Identification by the correlation of the Rf values and the in-situ UV spectra of the unknowns and standards. Determination by densitometry at 255 nm.
