The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords

TLC on silica gel with 1) benzene - ethyl acetate 19:1, 2 benzene - acetone 9:1, 3) petroleum ether (30-60°C) - ethyl acetate 20:3, 4) benzene - ethyl acetate - formic acid 3:2:2. Detection 1) under daylight, 2) by spraying with 20% perchloric acid and heating at 105°C, 3) by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid and heating, 4) under UV. Identification by finger print technique. Quantitation of total protein by determination of the nitrogen content.
J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 23 (6), 444-445 (2001). TLC on silica gel with chloroform - methanol - water 60:20:1 for the first development and 100:20:1 for the second. Detection under UV 254 nm. Quantitation by densitometry at 254 nm.

Identification by finger print technique. Quantitation of 10-hydroxy-2-decylenic acid by spectrophotometry at 210 nm and 235 nm.
Chinese J. Hosp. Pharm. (Zhongguo Yaoxue Zazhi) 21 (3), 187-188 (2001). TLC on silica gel with cyclohexane - ether - benzene 8:4:1. Detection by spraying with sulfuric acid - aceto anhydride - 10% ethanol 1:1:8 and heating at 110°C for 5 min. Identification by comparison with the standard.

Detection 1) by spraying with 1% vanillin solution, 2) by spraying with 2% FeCl3 solution. Identification by finger print technique.

TLC on silica gel with 1) hexane - ethyl acetate 9:1, 2) petroleum ether (30-60°C) - ethyl formate - formic acid 15:5:1, 3) chloroform - methanol - water 13:7:2. Detection 1) under UV 365 nm, 2) by exposure to NH3 vapors, 3) by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating at 105°C for 5 min. Identification by finger print technique.

TLC of baicalin on silica gel with 1) toluene - chloroform - acetone 8:5:7; 2) butyl acetate - formic acid - water 14:5:5; 3) chloroform - methanol - acetic acid 17:2:1. Detection 1) under UV 365 nm; 2) by spraying with vanillin - methanol - H2SO4 1:40:2, and heating at 105°C for 5 min. Identification by fingerprint technique.
