Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.

Detection 1) under UV 365 nm; 2) by exposing to ammonia vapor; 3) by spraying with potassium iodobismuthate solution; 4) under daylight. Identification by fingerprint technique. Quantification of icariine by HPLC.
Chinese J. Trad. Pat. Med. (Zhongchengyao) 26 (8), 631-634 (2004). TLC on silica gel with 1) n-hexane - ethyl acetate 9:1; 2) chloroform - diethyl ether 1:1; 3) n-butanol - ethyl acetate - water 4:1:5. Detection by 1) exposing to iodine vapors; 2) spraying with 10 % H2SO4 in ethanol and heating at 105 ºC. Identification by fingerprint technique. Quantification of astragaloside by densitometry at 530 nm. Validation of the procedure by investigation of linearity (1.1 - 5.5 µg per spot), precision (RSD = 1.82 %, n = 5 within plate and 1.99 %, n = 5 plate to plate), repeatability by standard addition recovery (100.1 %, RSD = 1.59, n = 6), etc. The results are given for a group of real samples.
J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 27(5), 526-529 (2005). TLC of the extracts on silica gel with 1) ethyl acetate - formic acid - water 10:1:2; 2) cyclohexane - chloroform - methanol 10:6:1. Detection 1) by spraying with 10 % H2SO4 in ethanol followed by heating at 105 ºC until the spots are visualized; 2) by exposing to iodine vapor and inspection under UV 365 nm. Identification by fingerprint technique. Monitoring of the dosage limit of aconitine in the medicine by comparison with the standard. Quantification of tetrahydropalmatine by HPLC. The results are given for 10 batches of real life samples.
Lipids 17, 107-110 (1982). TLC of glycolipids (glucocerebromide, lactosyl ceramide, globotriosyl ceramide, gangliotriosyl ceramide, globoside I, asialo-GM1) on silica with chloroform methanol - 0.2 % aq. CaCl2 55:45:10. Detection with anthrone-sulfuric acid reagent.
Methods for detecting poisoning with barbiturates in a clinical laboratory. (German). J. Clin. Chem. Clin. Biochem. 27, 53-56 (1989). TLC of numerous barbiturates on silica with chloroform ethanol - 25% NH3 80:15:5. After drying detection with diphenylcarbazone (0.01 g in 100 mL acetone - water 1:1) and HgSO4 (0.25g in 10 mL 14% sulfuric acid).
J. Planar Chromatogr. 6, 112-116 (1993). The use of the colorimeter for standardization of color measurement in thin-layer chromatography, and the handling of the data obtained, have been evaluated. The identification power, expressed as the mean list length (MLL), was 8.32 and 6.34 for visual and colorimetric methods, respectively. When fluorescence measurements were included in the encoding system, the MLL obtained from visual coding dropped dramatically to 2.90. The colorimeter tested was not able to measure UV reflection.
