The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Merck Spectrum (Darmstadt) 2, 61 (1988). TLC determination of barbiturates (hexo-, amo-, cyclo- and phenobarbital) on silica with chloroform - acetone 1:1. Spray reagent: 5 g mercury(II)oxide suspended in 100 mL water, 20 mL conc. sulfuric acid added with stirring. After cooling the reagent is diluted to 250 mL with water (Reagent I). 100 mg of diphenylcarbazone dissolved in 100 mL chloroform (Reagent II). Visualization by spraying with I, drying, spraying with II and under UV 366 nm.

TLC of lidocaine on silica with chloroform – methanol – 25% NH3 77:15.3:7,6:0.1 of diazepam with chloroform – ether – methanol – 25% NH3 90:10:5:0.1. Detection under UV 254 and 366 nm. TLC of prometazinium maleate on silica impregnated with 2-methylethanol – makrogol 400 – acetone 2:1:17, and with diethylamine – petrol ether 1:50. Detection under UV 254 nm.
(Hungarian). Acta Pharmaceutica Hungarica 63, 188-192 (1993). TLC of 5-isopropyl-2'-ß-deoxyuridine on silica with ethyl acetate - methanol 50:1. Densitometry by absorbance at 265 nm. The reproducibility of the OPTLC method (rel. st. dev.) is 4% for the main component.

TLC of corticosteroids (betamethasone dipropionate, dexamethasone, hydrocortisone, testosterone) on silica with chloroform - ethyl acetate 2:1 for corticosteroid esters and chloroform ethyl acetate 1:1 for free corticosteroids. Detection with tetrazolium blue reagent. Quantification by densitometry at 240 nm before spraying with the chromogenic reagent, or at 520 nm after spraying.
J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 18 (5) 1-3 (1996). TLC on silica with chloroform - methanol - formic acid 9:1:1. Detection by spraying with 5 % AlCl3 in ethanol. Discussion of the optimum process parameters for extracting total flavone.
