The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Detection 1) by spraying with potassium iodobismuthate solution, 2) by spraying with 5% FeCl3 in ethanol, 3) by exposure to ammonia vapor for 10 min and under UV 365 nm. Identification by finger print technique. Quantification of tetrandrine by densitometry at 500 nm.

J. Chinese Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 24 (8), 630-632 (2002). TLC on silica gel with chloroform - methanol - ethyl acetate - water 1:2:4:1. Detection under daylight and by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating at 100°C for 5 min. Quantitation by densitometry at 435 nm.

TLC on silica gel with 1) toluene (water saturated) - ethyl acetate - formic acid 5:4:1, 2) chloroform-acetone - formic acid 8:1:1, 3) chloroform - methanol - water 8:3.5:1. Detection 1) spraying with 5% AlCl3 in ethanol and under UV365 nm, 2) by spraying with 2% FeCl3 in ethanol, 3) under UV 365 nm. Identification by finger print technique.

Identification by standard comparison. Quantitative determination by densitometry at 254 nm. Validation of the procedure by investigation of its linearity range, interference with impurities, precision, reproducibility and recovery.

Discussion of employing the procedures in the optimization of the manufacture technology and its clinical application for the medicine.
