Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Agric. Food Chem. 50, 3150-3155 (2002). TLC of (7E)-2b,3a-dihydroxy-megastigm-7-en-9-one on silica gel with ethyl acetate - methanol - water 100:17:139. Visualization by spraying with vanillin-sulfuric acid. Also preparative TLC on RP-18 with methanol - water 1:1.
by thin-layer chromatography. J. of Chinese Trad. & Herb. Drugs (Zhongcaoyao) 34 (1), 130-131 (2003). TLC on silica gel with cyclohexane - acetone 3:1. Detection under UV 365 nm. Quantitation by densitometry at 310 nm and with the standard addition calibration method.
Proc. Intern. Symp. on Planar Separations Plan. Chrom. 223-230 (2003). HPTLC of caffeetannins and flavonoid glycosides (eriocitrin, hesperidin, luteolin-7-O-rutinoside, diosmin and rosmarinic acid) on silica gel and chemically modified (amino-, cyano-, and RP-18) silica gel. The mobile phase acetone - acetic acid 17:3 was successful for the aminopropyl phase and water - methanol 3:1 for RP-18. Detection under UV 365 nm before and after spraying with 2% methanolic aluminium chloride solution or in visible light after spraying with bis-diazotized sulphanilamide. Simple and useful procedure.
Planta med. 68, 896-900 (2002). TLC of cichoric acid, echinacoside, maackianin, and umbelliferone on silica gel with ethyl acetate - AcOH - acetic acid - water 100:11:11:27 and formic acid - ethyl formate - toluene 3:10:10. Detection after spraying with 1 % 2-aminophenyl diphenyl borate in methanol and 5 % PEG 400 in methanol under UV light at 366 nm.
CBS 88, 4-6 (2002). HPTLC of rhubarb extract on silica gel (prewashed with isopropanol) with acetone - water - formic acid 18:1:1 or toluene - acetone - formic acid 3:6:1 over 75 mm after partial chamber saturation. Detection by 1) dipping in a 1 % solution of vanillin in ethanol and heating at 50 °C for 5 min followed by exposing to HCl atmosphere, 2) spraying with iron (III) chloride 3 % in methanol, 3) spraying with 4-dimethylaminocinnamaldehyde 1 % in ethanol - HCl (37 %) 1:1, 4) spraying with natural products reagent 1 % in methanol. Documentation under white light and at 366 nm.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 17, 280-285 (2004). TLC of flavonoids (quercetin, I3,I8-biapigenin, quercitrin, isoquercitrin, hyperoside, rutin) and phenolic acids (caffeic and chlorogenic acid) on silica gel with ethyl acetate - formic acid - acetic acid - water 100:11:11:26 and ethyl acetate - formic acid - water 8:1:1. Detection by spraying with natural products - polyethylene glycol reagent and observation under UV light at 365 nm. Detection limit for flavonoids was 2.5 µg. Quantitative determination by spectrophotometry, calculated as quercetin. Also TLC of 16 amino acids on cellulose.
Abstract DP-41, IPC (2005). HPTLC of solanesol in n-hexane extracts of shade dried and freeze dried leaves of Solanum tuberosum, S. trilobactum, S. xanthocarpum, S. nigrum, and S. toruum on silica gel with chloroform - ethanol 48:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 254 nm. Solanum tuberosum contained the highest amount of solanesol out of the 5 analyzed species.
Planta Med. 71, 470-475 (2005). Analytical and preparative TLC of three new alkaloids, 7,8-dehydro-1-methoxyrutaecarpine, isodecerine and 8-demethyloxychelerythrine together with 16 known compounds on silica gel with n-hexane - ethyl acetate 5:3, chloroform - ethyl acetate 25:1, and chloroform - methanol 25:1. Detection under UV light at 254 nm.
