The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. Rutin, hyperin, isoquercitrin, luteolin 7-O-glucoside, protocatechuic acid, gallic acid, methyl gallate, and caffeic acid were used as standards. Chromatograms were developed with a variety of mobile phases. Detection under UV 254 and 366 nm and after spraying with 1% methanolic iron(III) chloride solutions, bis-diazotized sulfanilamide (tannins), or with 1% methanolic aluminium chloride (flavonoids). HPTLC of flavonoids on CN-phase with n-hexane - acetone 1:1, on DIOL-phase with diisopropyl ether - acetone - water - 98% formic acid 12:6:1:1 and on RP-18 with water - methanol - 98% - formic acid 49:50:1. TLC of tannins on silica gel with diisopropyl ether - acetone - 98% formic acid 5:4:1 and ethyl acetate - acetone - glacial acetic acid 7:2:1, on RP-18 with water - methanol - 98% formic acid 69:30:1 and on cellulose with water - glacial acetic acid 47:3.
