The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications

J. Chin. Trad. Patent Med. (Zhongchengyao) 23 (11), 837-838 (2001). TLC on silica gel with 1) cyclohexane - ethyl acetate 3:1, 2) petroleum ether (30-60°C) - ethyl acetate 17:3. Detection 1) by spraying with 5% FeCl3 in ethanol and heating, 2) by spraying with 0.1% 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine in ethanol. Identification by finger print technique. Discussion of use of the procedure for the quality control of the medicine.

Detection 1) by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating at 110°C for 5 min, 2) by spraying with 5% FeCl3 in ethanol and heating. Identification by finger print technique.

Quantitation by densitometry at 230 nm for grapholide and at 263 nm for andrographolide. Discussion of use of the procedure in the quality control of the medicine.

TLC of emodin and chrysophenol on silica gel with 1) hexane - ethyl acetate - formic acid 60:20:1; 2) chloroform - ethyl acetate - ether - methanol - formic acid - water 12:12:13:5:5:3; 3) chloroform - methanol 4:1. Detection 1) under UV 365 nm; 2) by spraying with 1% FeCl3 in ethanol; 3) by spraying with vanillin - methanol - H2SO4 1:40:2, and heating at 105°C for 5 min. Identification by fingerprint technique.
