Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Indian Drugs 42 (7), 465-468 (2005). HPTLC of tizanidine and diclofenac in tablet formulations on silica gel with chloroform - methanol 4:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 230 nm. Cetrizine was used as an internal standard. The solvent system was found to give compact spots for diclofenac sodium (Rf value 0.86), tizanidine (0.26) and cetrizine (0.52). The method was validated for linearity, accuracy and precision. Linearity for tizanidine was 0.6-1.4 µg/mL, and for diclofenac sodium 7.5-17.5 µg/mL . The mean recoveries obtained for tizanidine and diclofenac sodium were 98.73 % and 99.70 %, respectively. The proposed method was accurate, precise, selective and rapid for simultaneous estimation of tizanidine and diclofenac sodium in tablets.
J. Sep. Sci. 28, 1566-1576 (2005). HPTLC of itopride (subjected to acid and alkaline hydrolysis, oxidation, dry and wet heat treatment, UV and photo-degradation) on silica gel with toluene – methanol – chloroform 5:3:6 and 1 drop a of ammonia. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 270 nm. The drug is well separated from its degradation products upon applying the two methods.
J. AOAC Int. 89, 995-998 (2006). HPTLC of phenobarbital on silica gel, prewashed with methanol and then acetone, using dichloromethane - ethyl acetate - formic acid 95:5:1 in a horizontal chamber. Quantitation by densitometry in the absorbance/reflectance mode at 210 nm. The validity of the HPTLC-densitometric method was established through a study of linearity, sensitivity, accuracy, and reproducibility.
J. AOAC Int. 90, 113-127 (2007). TLC of bisacodyl [4,4’-(2-pyridylmethylene)-bisphenol diacetate], monoacetyl bisacodyl and desacetyl bisacodyl on silica gel with chloroform - acetone 9:1. Quantitative absorbance measurement at 223 nm. Concentration range for bisacodyl was 0.2 - 1.4 µg/band, mean recovery was 100.4 +/- 1.9 %.
J. Liq. Chromatogr. & Relat. Technol. 30, 1845-1854 (2007). TLC of three types of azaphenothiazines (10H- and 10-alkyldipyrido-1,4-thiazines, 6H- and 6-alkyldiquino-1,4-thiazines and 14H- and 14-alkyldiquino-1,4-thiazines) on RP-18 with acetone (concentration ranged from 50 to 85 % in 5 % increments) and aqueous Tris buffer pH 7.4, with chamber saturation. Detection under UV 254 nm.
Drug. Res. 35, 486-488 (1985). TLC of pipethiaden (4-(1-methyl-4-piperidylidene)-4,9-dihydrothieno-(2,3-c)-2-benzothiepine) on silica with chloroform - methanol - NH3 90:10:1 and dichloroethane - methanol - NH3 60:40:1. Detection by UV 254 nm. Autoradiography. Radioactive spots were scraped out and measured by liquid scintillation counting.
- Investigation of the biotransformation of Meclozin in the human body. J. Clin. Chem. Clin. Biochem. 26, 105-115, (1988). Analytical and preparative TLC of Meclozin (1-(4-chlorophenyl)-phenylmethyl-4-(3-methylphenyl)-methyl-piperazine) and metabolites on silica with 6 different eluents (e.g. toluene - ethanol - acetic acid 60:5: 35; methanol - NH3 (25%) 100:1. Detection with potassium iodoplatinate, 2,6-dichloro- quinonechlorimide, Altmann-reagent or bromocresol green-bromophenol-blue-potassium permanganate reagent. Quantification via GC after elution.
Arzneim.-Forsch. 40, 1159-1162 (1990). TLC of praziquantel and metabolites on silica with butanol – chloroform – ethyl acetate – NH3 20:20:60:3, methanol – dichloromethane 1:1. Determination with linear TLC radioactivity scanner response UV.
