The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords

J. Chinese Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 23, 459-460 (1992). TLC of aucubin on silica with chloroform - butanol - water 4:4:2. Detection by spraying with a solution of p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde 0.25 g - acetic acid 50 mL - 85% phosphoric acid 5 g - water 20 mL. Quantification by densitometry at 595 nm.
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. (Yaowu Fenxi Zazhi) 13, 302-306 (1993). TLC of saponins on silica with chloroform - ethyl acetate 60:15. Detection by spraying with 5% phosphomolybdic acid in ethanol and heating for 5 min at 110 °C, and observing under UV 365 nm.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 6, 415-418 (1993). TLC of 4 drug mixtures (hydroxyethyltheophylline/sulfadimidine, hydroflumethiazide/theophylline, carprofen/flunixin, frusemide/caffeine) and 11 corticosteroids on silica with 5 different mobile phases (ethyl acetate - methanol 0.880 NH3 80:25:10; dichloromethane - dioxan - water 100:50:50; lower layer; chloroform - methanol 95:5; toluene - ether - acetic acid - water 120:60:18:1. Detection and/or quantification by densitometry (no details).
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. (Yaowu Fenxi Zazhi) 14 (2), 50-51 (1994). TLC of the extracts of the title drug on silica with acetone - petrol ether (30 - 60°) 3:7. Detection by exposure to iodine vapor and comparison with the standards. Confirmation by UV spectroscopy.
Biochemical Systematics and Ecology 23, 79-87 (1995). TLC of caffeic acid, flavonoids, styrylpyrones on cellulose with phosphoric acid - water mixtures. Visualization by spraying with diphenyl boric acid - ethanol amine complex (1%) in methanol.
Chinese J. Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 25, 595-596 (1994). TLC of the extracts from Sharen on silica with 1) benzene - ethyl acetate 19:1, 2) benzene - ethyl acetate - formic acid 15:4:1. Detection by spraying with 5% vanillin and heating at 105 °C for 5-10 min. Identification by comparison of the pattern with standard drug using finger-printing technique.
Chinese Anal. Chem. (Fenxi Huaxue) 23, 236 (1995). TLC on silica with benzene - ethyl acetate - acetic acid 18:1:1. Detection under UV 365 nm, and by spraying with a solution of 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine. Quantification by densitometry at 520 nm.
J. Chin. Trad. Med. (Zhongguo Zhongyao Zazhi) 20, 391-393 (1995). TLC of the title compounds on silica with 1) chloroform - methanol - water 13:7:2, 2) butanol - ethyl acetate - water 4:1:5. Detection by spraying with 5 % phosphomolybdic acid and heating at 105 °C. Quantification by colorimetry.
