The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword

Detection by spraying with 10 % sulfuric acid and heating at 110 °C for 7 min. Quantification by densitometry at 520 nm.

TLC on silica with ethyl acetate - methanol - water 20:7:3 for the oligomeric procyanidines and ethyl acetate - methanol - water 20:5:3 for the polymeric procyanidines. Detection with 1 g vanillin in 100 g 50 % phosphoric acid, heating at 110 °C for 10 min. Identification of the procyanidines under visible light as red spots.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 1, 261-264 (1988). Preparative OPLC of 5 furocoumarins on silica with n-hexane. Discussion of the influence of solvent strength, flow rate, separation distance, particle size and sample application on the separation.
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. 8, 154-157 (1988) (Yaowu Fenxi Zazhi). TLC on silica with a) benzene - hexane - methanol 7:2:1, or b) methyl chloride - hexane - methanol 50:1:1. Detection under UV 254 nm. Quantification by densitometry at 270 nm.
J. Chinese Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 20, 6-8 (1989). TLC of coumarins and essential oils on silica with cyclohexane - ethyl acetate - chloroform 5:3:1 and petrol ether - ethyl acetate 85:15, respectively. Detection under UV 366 nm. or/and spraying with 1% vanillin in sulfuric acid. Quantification by fluorodensitometry at 366/>400 nm for coumarins. The calibration curve was found linear over a range of 0. 47 - 2. 25 ng, CV = 1. 1% and recovery ~100%. Also GC method for essential oils.
Phytochemistry 28, 247-249 (1989). TLC isolation of five okanin glucosides and diglucosides on silica with ethyl acetate - methanol - water 13:7:4 lower phase and ethyl acetate - formic acid - water 15:3:4.
