The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword

TLC on silica gel with 1) petroleum ether (60-90°C) - ethyl acetate 50:1, 2) ethyl acetate - formic acid - acetic acid - water 15:1:1:2, 3) chloroform - ethyl acetate - methanol - water 15:40:22:10, 4) ethyl acetate - methanol - water 100:17:13, 5) cyclohexane - ethyl acetate 22:1, 6) toluene - ethyl acetate - formic acid 40:8:1, 7) benzene - acetone 9:1. Detection 1) by spraying with 5% vanillin-sulfuric acid reagent and heating at 110°C, 2) with 5% sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating at 105°C, 3) with 3% AlCl3 and under UV 365 nm, 4) with acetoanhydride - sulfuric acid 9:1 and heating at 110°C, 4) with aceto anhydride - sulfuric acid and heating at 110°C, 5) with 20% perchoric acid and heating at 105°C for 10 min. Identification by finger print technique.
Chinese J. Pharm. (Zhongguo Yaoxue Zazhi) 36 (3), 196-198 (2001). TLC on silica gel with chloroform - methanol - acetic acid 85:13:2. Detection by spraying with 5% vanillin-sulfuric acid reagent and heating at 105°C for 5 min. Quantitation by densitometry at 575 nm.
J. Chinese Trad. & Herb. Drugs (Zhongcaoyao) 32 (6), 517-518 (2001). TLC on silica gel with isooctane - ether - acetic acid - butanol - water 10:5:5:3:1. Detection by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating, and under UV 365 nm. Identification of hyodeoxycholic acid by comparison with the standard.

TLC on silica gel with 1) butanol - acetic acid - water 7:1:2, 2) ethyl acetate - formic acid - acetic acid - water 15:1:1:2, 3) toluene - acetone - ethanol - NH3 20:20:3:1. Detection 1) by spraying with 0.2% ninhydrin in butanol - acetic acid 20:1 and heating at 110°C for 10 min, 2) by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating at 105°C, 3) by spraying with diluted potassium iodobismuthate solution and under daylight. Identification by finger print technique.

Micellar TLC of aspirin phenacetin and caffeine on silica gel with 2% sodium dodecyl sulfate - sodium acetate/disodium hydrogen phosphate (pH 8) - acetonitrile 3:1:1. Detection under UV 254 nm. Quantification by densitometry at 273 nm.
