Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 9, 456 - 458 (1996). HPTLC of pseudoephedrine hydrochloride or guaifenesin on silica with ethyl acetate - methanol - NH3 conc. 17:2:1. Quantification by densitometry at 210 nm for pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and 276 nm for guaifenesin. Visual detection sensitivity by fluorescence quenching were about 5 and 1.5 mg. Simple, rapid quantitative HPTLC method.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 10, 222-224 (1997). HPTLC of R-(+)- and S-(-)-pindolol enantiomers (after derivatization with 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-b-D-glucopyranosylisothiocyanate) on RP-8 silica with distilled water - 2-propanol 7:3. Quantification by densitometry at 256 nm (absorbance).
Part II: Quantitation and evaluation of ceftriaxone J. Planar Chromatogr. 11, 258-262 (1998). HPTLC of ceftriaxone (without prior solvent elution) on reversed-phase hydrocarbon-impregnated silica gel with water for plate washing and as spotting solvent. Evaluation of the spots at different wavelengths by densitometry. The direct sample determination (DSD), i.e. sample spotting coupled with densitometric quantitation, has a great advantage over GC or HPLC when the need for separation is absent and high sample throughput is required.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 11, 428-432 (1998). New TLC method HPTLC-OPLC and conventional TLC on silica gel with n-hexane - butyl acetate - ethyl acetate - chloroform 12:3:3:4; OPLC, and 6:3:3:4, TLC. Evaluation at 233 nm by densitometry. Development and validation of a quantitative OPLC purity test for phthaloyl-amlodipine and comparison of the validation characteristics (specificity characterized by retention factor, resolution, and asymmetry factors; linearity; detection limit and quantitation limit; and precision) with those of a similar TLC method.
Eastern Pharmacist, July, 113-115 (1999). HPTLC on silica gel with TLC toluene - acetone 1:1. Densitometry at 300 nm. The proposed method is suitable for content uniformity.
J. Liqu. Chroatogr. 23, 609-615 (2000). New procedure HPTLC of oxybenzone (2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-benzophenone) on RP-18 (after prewashing with dichloromethane - methanol 1:1) with methanol - tetrahydrofuran - deionized water 10:7:3 in a paper-lined chamber. Quantitation by densitometry at 300 nm. Precision (RSD) was 2.2% for replicate analysis of four sample solutions of one lotion on one plate and 4.6% for four analyses of one sample solution on different plates. Errors from spiked blanks and standard addition analyses to validate accuracy were 0 and 0.67% for the two blanks and 1.3% for the standard addition validation.
Proc. Intern. Symp. on Planar Separations, Planar Chromatography 2001, pp. 165-171. HPTLC of, xylometazoline hydrochloride and methyl p-hydroxybenzoate on silica gel with ethyl acetate - acetonitrile - diethylamine - water 3:3:1:1. Densitometry at 240 nm in reflectance/absorbance mode. Validation parameters, such as linearity, precision, accuracy and LOQ (limit of quantification) were determined and found to be satisfactory. Simple and reliable method.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 14, 430-434 (2001). TLC of cetirizine dihydrochloride, antazolini hydrochloridum, doxylamine succinate, ketotifene fumarate, chloropyramine hydrochloride on silica gel and aluminium oxide with a variety of mobile phases in horizontal chambers. The best separation selectivity and retention differences for the drugs on the two types of plate were obtained with chloroform - ethyl acetate 1:1, ethyl acetate, and butan-2-one - toluene 7:3. Visualization under 254 nm and by reaction with different reagents. The best sensitivity - 0.06 µg for cetirizine, 0.1 µg for chloropyramine, and 0.2 µg for antazoline, doxylamine, and ketotifene was obtained by spraying with potassium iodoplatinate reagent. Also video densitometry. New simple and rapid method.
