Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
A survey. J. Liq. Chrom. & Rel. Technol. 24, 1447-1466 (2001). Survey of silver ion TLC used for the separation of fatty acids according to the number, configuration, and position of double bonds. The efficiency of Ag-TLC/GC for determination of trans-fatty acids in food is emphasized. Possible is the in situ quantification of fatty acids by photodensitometry. Some aspects of the possible interaction mechanism with silver ions in relation to recent studies are also discussed. (Introduction, silver ion complexation with double bonds, practical considerations, separation of fatty acids by Ag-TLC (separation according to number of double bonds, separation according to the configuration of double bonds, separation according to the position of the double bond, miscellaneous), quantification; 86 references).
Koch ex DC. Proc. Intern. Symp. on Planar Separations Plan. Chrom. 274-283 (2003). TLC of phenolic acids (e.g. p-coumaric, chlorogenic, hydroxybenzoic, isovanillic, caffeic, rosmarinic, syringic, vanillic, protocatechuic, ferulic, g- and b-resorcylic and gentisic acid) on cellulose with toluene - sodium ethyl - formic acid 5:4:1, sodium formate - formic acid - water 10:1:200, and 15% aqueous acetic acid. After preconditioning with benzene - methanol - acetic acid 94:1:5 for 2D-TLC with benzene - methanol - acetic acid - acetonitrile 16:2:1:1 in the first direction and sodium formate - formic acid - water 10:1:200 in the second direction. Examination under UV 254 and 366 nm. Visualization with 3% methanolic solution of iron(III) chloride, diazotized sulfanilic acid in 20% sodium carbonate solution 1:1.
J. AOAC Int. 87, 523-539 (2004). TLC of e. g. trans- and cis-18:1 isomers of fatty acids on silica gel impregnated with silver nitrate (10 % solution of silver nitrate in acetonitrile) with toluene, benzene or mixtures of toluene - hexane 1:1, hexane - diethyl ether 9:1, and hexane - chloroform. The plates are normally developed at room temperature in a dark place. The resolution of some positional 18:1 and 18:2 isomers may be improved by development at about -20° or -25 °C. Detection by spraying with 0.05 % rhodamine B in ethanol. GC after extraction.
J. Liq. Chromatogr. & Relat. Technol. 29, 2593-2602 (2006). TLC of mandelic acid and derivatives on molecularly imprinted polymers of L-mandelic acid, L-2-chloromandelic acid and L-4-chloromandelic acid as chiral stationary phases using mixtures of acetonitrile and acetic acid in different concentrations (1, 5, 10 %) with chamber saturation. Detection under UV 254 nm.
J. Chromatogr. 417, 414-419 (1987). Two-dimensional TLC of prostaglandins, thromboxane and arachidonic acid with ethyl acetate - iso-octane - acetic acid - water 11:5:2:10 and chloroform - methanol - acetic acid 90:8:6. Detection by spraying with 10% phophomolybdic acid in ethanol. Discussion of the chromatographic conditions.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 22, 35-42 (2009). HPTLC of phospholipids (lyso-phosphatidylcholine, sphingomyelin, phosphatidylcholin, lyso-phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylinositol, phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylserine, phosphatidic acid, and triacylglycerol) on silica gel with chloroform - ethanol - water - triethylamine 5:5:1:5. Detection by spraying with a solution of primulin (Direct Yellow 59). Evaluation under UV 366 nm. Detection by MALDI-TOF MS directly on the plates.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 26, 486-490 (2013). HPTLC of tallow in cow ghee on silica gel with n-hexane - diethyl ether 2:3 + 1 drop glacial acetic acid for unsaponifiable fraction (1) and n-hexane - diethyl ether 13:7 + 1 drop glacial acetic acid for saponifiable fraction (2). Detection by spraying with 10% methanolic sulfuric acid reagent followed by heating at 110 ºC for 5-10 min. Zones at hRf values of 9 and 20 were identified as tallow concentration increased.
