Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 17, 454-458 (2004). HPTLC of lipids and phospholipids (tricylglycerols, free sterols, free fatty acids, steryl esters, phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylethanolamine) on silica gel with petroleum ether - diethyl ether - glacial acetic acid 80:20:1 in a presaturated twin-trough chamber. Detection by spraying with 5 % phosphomolybdic acid in ethanol, followed by heating for 10 min at 115 °C. The neutral lipids are visible as blue spots on a yellow background. For polar lipid analysis, plates were developed with chloroform - methanol - water 65:25:4 and sprayed with 10 % cupric sulfate, followed by heating for 10 min at 140 °C, to detect phospholipids as brown spots on a white background. Quantitative determination by densitometric analysis at 610 nm for neutral lipids and at 370 nm for polar lipids.
Anal. Chem. 80, 1835-1846 (2008). HPTLC of neutral glycosphingolipids on silica gel with chloroform - methanol - water 120:70:17 and 120:85:20, both supplemented with 2 mM calciumchloride solution. Detection by treatment with orcinol. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 544 nm (orcinol) and 630 nm (indolylphosphate). A TLC overlay assay was performed, the TLC immunodetection procedure used glycosphingolipid antibodies and toxins in conjunction with antitoxin antibodies.
Chinese J. Chromatogr. (Sepu) 12, 189-191 (1994). TLC of gangliosides on silica with chloroform - methanol - water 55:45:10 containing 0.02% CaCl2 · 2 H2O. Detection by spraying with resorcinol reagent and heating at 110 °C for 15 min. Determination of the sugar composition of the main gangliosides GM3 and GD3 in serum by GC.
J. Agric. Food Chem. 45, 611-615 (1997). TLC of monosialogangliosides, disialogangliosides and "red protein" on silica with propanol - water 7:3. Detection by spraying with resorcinol reagent.
Chromatographia 68 (1-2), 151-153 (2008). Anisaldehyde and crotonaldehyde reagent are suitable as spray reagents for the detection of major components of sesame oil unsaponifiables. Derivatization with anisaldehyde reagent lead to chromatograms with coloured zones characteristic for lignans and sterols in Sesamum indicum. By derivatization with crotonaldehyde four of the eleven unsaponifiable matters could be detected as more stable and brightl coloured zones. The results obtained could serve as a guide in the monitoring of oil’s stability, adulteration and contaminations.
(Hungarian). (A thin-layer chromatographic method for the specific detection of benzoic acid by a novel developer.) TLC of benzoic-, sorbic-, and salicylic acid on silica with hexane - ether - acetic acid 81:5:4. Detection with bromophenol blue reagent: 40 mg in 5 ml ethanol + 5 ml 0.01 N NaOH. For sorbic acid with 2-thiobarbituric acid reagent.
Budapest Chromatography Conference, June 2, 1983. TLC of saturated fatty acids, monoen-, dien-, trien- and polyen fatty acids on silica with heptane-toluene 8:2, petrol ether - diisopropylether 99:1. Detection with phosphomolybdic acid.
Anal. Biochem. 125, 197-202 (1983). TLC of carboxylic acids and their esters and acyl-CoA-derivatives on silica, impregnated with 40 % AgNO3 in water and heated at 110 °C for 30 minutes, with benzene - ethyl acetate 9:1. Detection with potassium dichromate solution in 70 % H2SO4 and heating at 120 °C for 90 minutes. Densitometry.
