The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Two dimensional TLC of lipids on silica with 1.) chloroform - methanol - water - acetic acid - heptane 65:25:4:1:1, 2.) heptane - ether - acetic acid 95:4:1. Detection by charring at 140 °C after copper acetate spray; densitometry. Identification of lysophosphatidylcholine, sphingomyelin, phosphatidylcholina, sulfatide, phosphatidylethanolamine, cerebroside.
J. Agric. Food Chem. 34, 904-907 (1986). Chromatography of oils and lipids on silica with petrol ether - ether - acetic acid 90:10:1 or chloroform - methanol - water 65:25:4. Detection with 5 0 % aq. sulfuric acid or Dragendorff reagent.
Acta Pharm. Jugoslavica 37, 87-95 (1987). TLC of lipid compounds on silica with petrol ether - ether - acetic acid 85:15:12. Staining by spraying with molybdate- perchloric acid reagent. Densitometry by absorbance.
J. Chromatogr. 411, 393-399 (1987). Detection by lectins conjugated to horseradish peroxidase of oligosaccharides from glycosphingolipids on TL chromatograms. Final visualization by spraying with hydrogen peroxide-3,3'-diaminobenzidine. The procedure is rapid, specific, sensitive, reproducible, and staining patterns are stable for years.
Plant Science 55, 21-25 (1988). Two-dimensional TLC of methionine and lipids on silica with acetone - benzene - methanol - water 8:3:2:1 for the first development and chloroform - acetone - methanol - acetic acid - water 10:4:2:3:1 for the second. Autoradiography.
Phytochemistry 28, 399-405 (1989). TLC of neutral lipids on silica with petrol ether (60-80°C) - butanol - acetone 40:10:1 at 4°C, chloroform - methanol - acetone - water 170:30:20:7 at 25°C for polar lipids. 2D-TLC at room temperature using chloroform - methanol - 28% NH3 65:36:7 in the first dimension and acetone - benzene - water 90:30:7 in the second. Visualization by spraying with 0.2% methanolic 8-anilino-1-naphthalene sulfonic acid, under UV or by exposing to iodine vapor.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 3, 38-41 (1990). HPTLC of phosphatidyl cholin, oleic acid, cholesterol, triolein and cholesterol on preadsorbent silica gel with a new solvent system by double ascending development in saturated chambers. First solvent toluene, second solvent, after drying for 10 min, hexane – chloroform – methanol 30:18:2. Detection by spraying with 5% phosphomolybdic acid in ethanol and heating at 110°C; scanning by adsorbance at 700 nm.
Proc. 6th Int. Symp. Instrum. Planar Chromatogr., (Interlaken 1991), Inst. Chromatogr., Bad Dürkheim, FRG, 91-95 (1991). After qualitative TLC separation of the lipid extract of rat placenta, one part of the fatty acid fraction was hydrogenated. This simplifies the separation. Prechromatographic derivatization with monodansylcadaverine and N,N’-dicyclohexylcarboiimide. HPTLC of both extracts on RP-18 silica with methanol - acetonitrile - THF 18:2:1. Stabilization by dipping into a Triton (R)-X100 solution. Quantitative determination by fluorescence 366/>400 nm.
