Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 20, 141-143 (2007). TLC of methyl, ethyl, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, p-hydroxybenzoic acid, benzoic acid, sodium benzoate, butylated hydroxyanisol, and butylated hydroxytoluene on the inorganic ion exchanger stannic silicate in a twin-trough chamber with n-hexane - ethyl methyl ketone - acetic acid 80:20:3. Quantitation by scanning densitometry at 260 nm.
60th Indian Pharmaceutical Congress PA-217 (2008). HPTLC of oleanolic acid in total methanolic extract of fruits of Randia dumetorum lam. on silica gel with toluene - ethyl acetate - acetic acid 70:30:1 in a twin trough chamber saturated for 10 min. Detection by treatment with 10 % sulphuric acid in methanol, followed by heating at 110 °C and immediate densitometric evaluation. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 540 nm. The method was linear in the range of 50-500 ng/spot. Recovery was in the range of 99.4-100.8 %.
Research J. Pharm. and Tech. 3(3), 825-827 (2010). TLC on silica gel (plates pre-washed with methanol) with chloroform - methanol 4:1. The hRf value of aceclofenac was 38 and of diacerein 66. Densitometric evaluation at 256 nm. The linearity range was 10-50 µg/band for aceclofenac and 5-25 µg/band for diacerein. The recovery was in the range of 99.3-101.8 % for both compounds. The method was suitable for routine quality control of combined dosage forms without any interference from the excipients.
Indian Drugs 47(11), 68-72 (2010). TLC on silica gel with ethyl acetate - acetic acid - water 15:3:2. The hRf value was 57. Densitometric evaluation at 265 nm. The method was linear in the range of 200-2400 ng/band. The method was suitable for routine quality control of the drug in formulation as there is no interference from excipients.
62nd Indian Pharmaceutical Congress Abstract No. F-273 (2010). TLC of camylofin dihydrochloride on silica gel with toluene – methanol – chloroform – 10 % ammonia 8:5:6:1. The hRf value was 35. The sample was subjected to different stress conditions (acid, base, oxidative, thermal, photolysis). The proposed method could effectively separate the drug from its degradation product.
Chinese J. of Pharm. Anal. 29 (9), 1458-1461 (2009). TLC of Ershiwuwei Luronghao pill extracts on silica gel with toluene - ethyl acetate - water - formic acid 20:10:1:1. Detection under UV 365 nm. Identification of aristolochic acid A by comparison of the hRf value with the standard. The method was rapid and precise and suitable for the quality control of the medicine.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 26, 132-136 (2013). TLC of rosmarinic (1) and caffeic acids (2) in extracts of Salvia species on silica gel with toluene - ethyl acetate - formic acid 5:4:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 325 nm. The hRf values for (1) and (2) were 40 and 60, respectively.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 30, 411-417 (2017). HPTLC of paraben solutions and a complex matrix such as honey spiked with 5-hydroxymethylfurfural to study the influence of different application parameters on quantitative analysis. The investigated parameters included application geometries (spot, band and area) and their respective application modes (contact and spray-on), various dosage speeds, different band lengths, overspotted application versus application of mixture solutions as well as influence of the dosing volume on the result. These parameters have influence on method development and validation results.
