Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Bull. Chinese Trad. Med. (Zhongyao Tongbao) 13, 338-340 (1988). TLC on silica with toluene - methanol - acetic acid 8:1:2 or chloroform - methanol - 25% NH3 40:10:1. Quantification by densitometry at 240 nm. RSD 1, 4%, recovery >98%.
Chinese J. Chromatogr. 6, 43 (1988). TLC of a- and ß-isomers of g-glycosides with aromatic substituents on silica with a) chloroform - methanol 9:1, b) chloroform - methanol - water 7:2:0.3, c) ethyl acetate - acetone 6:4, d) ethyl acetate - methanol 9:1.
Acta Pharm. Sinica (Yaoxue Xuebao) 24, 841-846 (1989). Analysis of 81 commonly used solvents by Fuzzy group method using a computer. Optimization of 20 solvents selected for TLC by means of a uniform design test with the separation of ginseng saponins as examples.
J. Agric. Food Chem. 38, 1810-1817 (1990). TLC of saponins and prosapogenins on silica with ethyl acetate - water - acetic acid 120:80:1. Visualization by spraying with methanol - acetic anhydride - sulfuric acid conc. 50:5:5 followed by heating at 120 °C; separation of aglycons on silica with benzene - methanol 92:8, cochromatography.
J. Chinese Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 22, 468-469 (1991). TLC of saponins on silica with chloroform - methanol - water 65:35:10. Detection by spraying with chlorosulfonic acid - acetic acid 1:2 and heating at 130 °C for 10 min.
Phytochemistry 33, 401-405 (1993). TLC of iridoid glucosides and of iridoid ester glucosides on silica with chloroform - methanol - water 80:20:2 and with ethyl acetate - methanol - water 200:33:27. Also TLC on cellulose with pyridine - ethyl acetate - acetic acid - water 36:36:7:21. Detection with vanillin - sulfuric acid reagent. Sugar analysis after hydrolysis of the glycosides on cellulose. Detection with aniline phthalate. Excellent TLC conditions for the analysis of various classes of monoterpene glycosides.
Phytochemistry 36, 133-137 (1994). TLC of a saponin mixture on silica with ethyl acetate - methanol - water 5:4:1; on RP-18 with acetonitrile - water 1:1 and on cellulose with butanol - acetic acid - water 4:1:5. Detection with 1% ceric sulfate in 1 M sulfuric acid. Cellulose TLC chromatograms were sprayed with aniline phthalate reagent. Excellent separation conditions for saponins and related terpenoid glycosides.
J. of Natural Products 58, 1419-1422 (1995). TLC of a saponin mixture on silica with chloroform - ethanol - water 16:8:1 in the first development. After hydrolysis in HCl vapor for 1 hour, the chromatogram was developed with 2) ethyl acetate - methanol - acetic acid - water 12:3:3:2 in the second direction and compared with a reference sugar mixture. The same procedure was used for bidasmosidic saponins with NH3 vapor to hydrolyze only the ester bond. Very elegant in-situ TLC hydrolysis method for saponins using either HCl or NH3 vapor.
