The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Chromatographia 45, 195-198 (1997). 2D-TLC of amino acids, sugars, oligosaccharides, and organic acids on silica and cellulose with different solvents. Detection with suitable spray reagents. Application of the technique for diagnosis of inherited metabolic diseases with some pathological examples.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 16, 52-57 (2003). HPTLC of fructooligosaccharides on NH2-silica gel with acetonitrile - water - phosphate buffer 16:3:2 and on silica gel, pretreated with 0.02% sodium acetate or chloroform - methanol 1:2, with chloroform - dichloromethane - methanol - water 35:15:35:6, acetonitrile - water 6:1 and butanol - ethanol - water 5:3:2. Detection by immersion for 5 s in aniline - diphenylamine - phosphoric acid dipping solution. Visualization by heating at 120°C for 20 min. Densitometry at 370 nm. New rapid and precise procedure.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 23, 46-49 (2010). HPTLC of polysaccharides (with galactose, glucose, mannose, arabinose, ribose, xylose, rhamnose, galacturonic acid, and glucuronic acid as standards) before and after hydrolysis on silica gel with chloroform - n-butanol - methanol - water - acetic acid 9:25:10:3:3 with chamber saturation for 30 min at room temperature. Detection by spraying with aniline - diphenylamine - phosphoric acid reagent and heating at 130 °C for 10 min. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 380 nm. Ninhydrin reagent was used for detection of other compounds.
J. of Medicinal Chemistry 32, 16-23 (1989). TLC of various new nitrosoureido derivatives of di- or trideoxy sugars on silica with dichloromethane - methanol 95:5 and hexane - ethyl acetate 4:1. Visualization under UV 254 nm.
J. Chromatogr. A 1477, 108-113 (2016). In order to study the kinetics of invertase, a specific fructofuranosidase was cloned from the Leishmania major genome. Determination of the kinetic parameters of the β-D-fructofuranosidase by TLC on silica gel impregnated with sodium bisulfate and citrate, developed successively twice with acetonitrile – water 4:1. Detection of the three carbohydrates sucrose, glucose and fructose by dipping the plates in a solution of 4-aminobenzoic acid. Quantitative determination by UV-densitometry. Description of the hydrolysis of sucrose by the Michaelis-Menten kinetic parameters (KM, Vmax) equal to 63.1 ± 7.6 mM, 0.04 ± 0.001 mM/min using glucose production and 83.0 ± 14.4 mM, 0.03 ± 0.002 mM/min monitoring fructose. Also, comparison of hydrolyses of three alternative substrates, raffinose, stachyose and inulin, and characterization of the regiospecificity of the reaction. The method proved to be suitable for the refined kinetic analysis of different reactions related to the hydrolysis of sugars.
nauk SSSR, ser. chim. 896-903 (1983). (Russian). (On the structure of some products of galactite amidothionophosphorylation). TLC of phosphorylated galactose derivatives on silica with petrol ether - ether 40:1, 20:1, 1:2, 3:4. Detection with iodine vapors.
Chromatographia 23, 137-140 (1987). TLC of carbohydrates, glycerol, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol on silica with 1) acetonitrile - water - acetic acid 85:15:10, 2) propanol - chloroform - methanol -10 % NH3 45:45:10:10, 3) 2-propanol - butanol-1 - boric acid - acetic acid 50:30:10:2. Detection by 1) spraying with vanadium pentoxide in 1M sodium carbonate, 2) dipping in dichlorofluorescein reagent.
Anal. Biochem. 195, 153-159 (1991). TLC of carbohydrates on silica with butanol – pyridine – water 16:5:4, development over 3 cm, and with ethyl acetate – methanol – acetic acid – water 4:1:1:1 over 7 cm. Detection by spraying with o-toluidine reagent and heating for 25 min at 110 °C. Quantification by densitometry at 480 - 630 nm. Detection limits, less than 10 ng. The UV spectrum of each reference sugar was measured.
