The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords

Screening for 78 drugs visualizable with Fast Black K salt, including 25 amphetamine type drugs, on silica with toluene – acetone – ethanol – NH3 45:45:7:3 and on RP-18 with methanol – water – hydrochloric acid 50:50:1. Classification of the drugs into two groups (violet and red) according to color. Evaluation of the TLC/RPTLC combination for identification, in both color groups, with the mean list length method.

J. Chinese Herb. Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 23, 467-468 (1992). TLC of oleanolic acid on silica with chloroform - methanol 17:1. Determination by spectrophotometry at 530 nm.
Chinese J. Pharm. Anal. (Yaowu Fenxi Zazhi) 14, 59-60 (1994). TLC of chlorphenamine maleate and some constituents from Ganoderma lucidum on silica with chloroform - methanol - water - formic acid 30:20:2:2. Detection by exposure to iodine vapor. Identification by comparison with standards.
Chinese J. Pharm. (Zhongguo Yaoxue Zazhi) 29, 685-686 (1994). TLC on silica with butyl acetate - acetic acid - 0.1% EDTA-2Na in 5% NaH2PO4 - butanol 50:30:10:5. Detection by spraying with starch - acetic acid - 1 % iodine in KI 100:6:2, and heating at 105 °C for 10-15 min. Quantification by comparison with the standards.

Discussion of two TLC systems, Toxi-Lab TLC systems, for detecting toxic concentrations of drugs: The 1st uses extraction, chromatography and staining procedures for basic and neutral drugs; the other for acid and neutral drugs.
Analyst 119, 2655-2658 (1994). TLC of 40 hormones on silica with chloroform - acetone 9:1, and cyclohexane - ethyl acetate - methanol 117:78:11. Detection by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid in methanol and heating at 95 °C for 10 min. Visualization under UV 366 nm. Detection limit were given. The method enables screening of 39 hormones illegally injected.
