Establishment of the optimum conditions as volatile oil: beta-cyclodextrin 1:8 at 50 ºC for two hours, giving the utilization ratio of volatile oil of 70.7%.

The results for three real life samples are given.

Detection under UV 365 nm and by spraying with 1 % FeCl3 solution in ethanol or with a solution of 5 % p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde 10 % ethanolic H2SO4 followed by heating at 80 ºC. Identification of the fingerprint. Quantitative determination of berberine chloride by HPLC. The results of three batches of real life samples are given.

      Fast Chromatographic Separation of Plasticizers on Thin Layers of an Inorganic Ion-Exchanger

TLC of dimethyl phthalate, diethyl phthalate, dibutyl phthalate, di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate (DEHP), benzyl butyl phthalate, diisodecyl phthalate, dimethyl adipate, diethyl adipate, di(2-ethylhexyl)adipate, triethyl citrate, tributyl citrate, tributyl acetyl citrate and n-butyl stearate on inorganic ion-exchanger stannic silicate with toluene - ethyl acetate 10:1 over 12 cm (25 min). Quantification of DEHP by densitometry at 280 nm. Limit of quantitation for DEHP was 0.50 µg/zone and limit of detection 0.05 µg/zone.
