The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

Detection 1) by spraying with 10% sulfuric acid in ethanol and heating at 105°C, 2) by spraying with vanillin in sulfuric acid solution and heating at 105°C, 3) under UV 365 nm. Identification by finger print technique. Quantitation of baicalin by HPLC.

TLC of psoralen on silica gel with 1) n-hexane - ethyl acetate 4:1; 2) petroleum ether (60-90°C) - ethyl acetate 1:1; 3) benzene - chloroform - ethyl acetate 10:8:1. Detection 1) by spraying with 10% KOH and under UV 365 nm, 2) by spraying with vanillin - H2SO4 solution and heating. Identification by finger print technique.

TLC on silica gel by twice developing with benzene - ethanol 2:1 for the first and benzene - ethanol 4:1 for the second. Detection by 1) by spraying with 3% phosphomolybdic acid - H2SO4 solution and heating at 105°C. Identification by finger print technique. Discussion of the advantages of the improved procedure in the quality control of the medicine.

Quantification of ligustilide by densitometry at 290 nm. Validation of the method by investigation of its precision (RSD 2.4 % n=5 within plate and 3.0 % n=5 plate-to-plate), reproducibility (2.5 % n=6 within three hours), and recovery (96.7 %, RSD 2.2 % n=5).
