Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Chromatogr. 452, 377-398 (1988). Evaluation of the chromatographic properties of about 100 sterols, select steroids of plant origin and triterpenoids by TLC or argentation TLC and other techniques. Visualization of TL Chromatograms by spraying with 50% methanolic sulfuric acid and heating at 60°C. Discussion of the utility of each methodology.
Phytochemistry 47, 1583-1600 (1998). Isolation of numerous new diterpenes by prep. TLC on silica gel with dichloromethane - toluene - methyl-tert-butyl ether (MTB) 9:9:2, 7:7:6, 2:2:1, toluene - dichloromethane - MTB 4:4:1 and petroleum ether - MTB 3:7.
Analytical Chemistry - An Indian Journal 8(1), 82-86 (2009). An HPTLC method is reported for estimation of beta-sitosterol in flowers of Woodfordia fruticosa (Lythraceae) and its polyherbal formulation. HPTLC on silica gel with toluene - ethyl acetate - methanol - glacial acetic acid 80:10:5:3. Methanolic extracts of the sample were used for chromatographic separation. Derivatization with Liebermann-Burchard reagent, densitometric quantification at 366 nm. The linearity range was 100-700 ng/band. The flowers of the plant contained 0.18 µg/mg beta-sitosterol and the tablet herbal formulation contained 0.15 µg/mg.
J. Chromatogr. A 1525, 173-280 (2017). Presentation of a straightforward, selective and sensitive screening method for the determination of 16-O-methylcafestol (16-OMC) in roasted coffee, the characteristic diterpene exclusively present in Coffea canephora which is an excellent marker for Coffea canephora admixtures to Coffea arabica. HPTLC with fluorescence detection (HPTLC–FLD), using sudan IV as internal standard and a direct saponification with 10 % ethanolic potassium hydroxide solution, followed by solid-supported liquid extraction with petroleum ether. Selective derivatization of 16-OMC with 2-naphthoyl chloride and analysis by HPTLC–FLD on silica gel with cyclohexane – t-butyl methyl ether – formic acid 43:7:1. Quantitative determination of the enhanced fluorescence at 244/>320 nm. The LOD and LOQ was 5 and 14 mg/kg of 16-OMC in coffee, which allowed for the determination of Coffea canephora admixtures to Coffea arabica below 1 %. The recovery for blends of Coffea arabica with Coffea canephora was close to 100 %._x000D_
Detection by spraying with sulfuric acid - vanillin or sulfuric acid - anis aldehyde. Characterization by CC.
J. of Natural Products, 51, 719-724 (1988). TLC on silica with toluene - ethyl acetate - acetic acid 98:2:0.1.
Phytochemistry 28, 2981-2988 (1989). TLC of pentacyclic triterpenoid phytoalexins on Rhodamine 6G impregnated silica with ethyl acetate - cyclohexane 1:1, toluene - ethyl acetate 9:1 or 17:3, petrol ether (40-60°C) - diethyl ether 4:1 and diisopropyl ether - acetone 5:2; on 10% AgNO3 impregnated silica with toluene - petrol ether 1:1 and methanol - toluene 1:19. Visualization under UV 254 nm (Rhodamine impregnated plates) or by spraying with anisaldehyde - sulfuric acid reagent followed by heating.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 2, 392-393 (1989). TLC separation of cinnamyl alcohol on C-18 silica without prior clean-up with methanol - water 7:3 as mobile phase. Densitometry; identification by in situ recorded UV spectra.
