The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

(Composition of the essential oil of the inflorescences of heterotheca inuloides cass.) TLC of cadaline, 7-hydroxy-3,4-dihydrocadaline, 4-methoxyisocadaline, caryophyllene-epoxide and calacorene on silica with petrol ether - ethyl acetate - toluene 80:15:15. Detection with anisaldehyde - sulfuric acid reagent.
J. Chinese Herb Med. (Zhongcaoyao) 20, 6-8 (1989). TLC of coumarins and essential oils on silica with cyclohexane - ethyl acetate - chloroform 5:3:1 and petrol ether - ethyl acetate 85:15, respectively. Detection under UV 366 nm. or/and spraying with 1% vanillin in sulfuric acid. Quantification by fluorodensitometry at 366/>400 nm for coumarins. The calibration curve was found linear over a range of 0. 47 - 2. 25 ng, CV = 1. 1% and recovery ~100%. Also GC method for essential oils.
(Labiattea). Flavour & Fragrance J. 6, 93-95 (1991). Preparative TLC of ether extracted oil on silica of 0.2 mm thickness with ethyl acetate – hexane 3:17. Quantification by GC after elution with ether.
Biochemical Systematics and Ecology 24, 195-205 (1996). TLC of essential oils on silica with toluene - ethyl acetate 93:7. Detection with vanillin-sulfuric acid reagent and heating.

Rhexifoline content of P. pica. Biochem. Systematics and Ecology 14, 499-506 (1986). TLC of iridoids on silica with chloroform - methanol 6:4. Detection by spraying with a solution of 50 % ethanol - conc. sulfuric acid - p-anisaldehyde 90:10:0.5, and heating at 110 °C for 3-5 minutes. TLC of alkaloids on silica with acetonitrile or chloroform - methanol 1:1. Detection by spraying with iodoplatinic acid.
Chromatographia 37, 365-373 (1993). TLC of title compounds on silica by AMD using two different solvent gradients. Identification by in-situ measurement of the UV spectra. Determination by densitometry at 280 nm. Discussion of the advantages of this TLC method.
Planta med. 66, 96-98 (2000). TLC of secoiridoids on silica gel with chloroform - methanol 3:1. Detection under UV 366 nm and by spraying successively with 0.2% Fast Red Blue in water and 20% potassium carbonate in water. TLC of g-pyrone compounds (e.g. gentiopicrin, mangiferin) on cellulose with 15% acetic acid in water. Detection under UV 366 nm and by spraying with 5% aluminium chloride solution in ethanol.
