Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
J. Chromatogr. 609, 407-417 (1992). Eluates from flash and vacuum column chromatography of ginger rhizome monitored by TLC on silica with toluene - methanol 80:5. Detection by spraying with Folin-Ciocalteu reagent.
Planta med. 65, 754-756 (1999). Preparative TLC of rubiadin-1-methyl ether (1-methoxy-3-hydroxy-2methylanthrquinone) on silica gel with toluene - ethyl acetate (9:1).
J. Planar Chromatogr. 22, 49-53 (2009). TLC of geranylgeraniol and plaunotol on silica gel with chloroform - n-propanol 24:1 or 48:1, or with ethyl acetate, in saturated chambers. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 210 nm. Detection of plaunotol by exposure to iodine vapor for 10 min. The acyclic diterpenoid plaunotol present in Croton stellatopilosus leaves is a hydroxylation product, catalyzed by the enzyme geranylgeraniol-18-hydroxylase. The activity of the enzyme in cell-free extracts of C. stellatopilosus leaves was previously reported. In this study a new mobile phase (ethyl acetate) was used for determination of geranylgeraniol-18-hydroxylase in the 20,000 g and 100,000 g precipitates of the crude extracts. In addition ethyl acetate successfully separated plaunotol from various cytochrome P-450 inhibitors (ancymidol, metyrapone, and miconazole) frequently used for biochemical characterization of the hydroxylase enzymes.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 26, 260-266 (2013). HPTLC of of iridoids 10-O-trans-p-coumaroylcatalpol (1), 4-hydroxy-E-globularinin (2) and premnosidic acid (3) in the stem bark of Premna integrifolia on silica gel with ethyl acetate - methanol - water - acetic acid 40:6:3:1. Detection by dipping into vanillin - sulphuric acid reagent (1 % vanillin in ethanol - sulfuric acid 19:1), followed by heating at 110 ºC for 3 min. Quantification by absorbance measurement at 510 nm. The hRf values for (1) to (3) were 52, 41 and 33, respectively. Linearity was in the range of 1-10 µg/zone for (1) to (3). LOD and LOQ were 198 and 663 ng/zone for (1), 312 and 1040 ng/zone for (2) and 200 and 666 ng/zone for (3), respectively. Average recoveries for (1) to (3) were found to be 97.3 %, 98.3 % and 97.6 %, respectively. Intermediate/interday/intra-day precision was below 2 % (n=9).
Phytochemistry 24, 1587-1591 (1985). TLC of cucurbitacins on silica with chloroform - methanol 9:1. Detection with vanillin - phosphoric acid reagent. For the detection of alpha-ketolcucurbitacins, the plates were sprayed with a 1:1 mixture of triphenyltetrazolium chloride (4 % in ethanol) and NaOH 1 N. Flavonoid glycosides were separated on silica with ethyl acetate - formic acid - acetic acid - water 100:11:11:27. Detection with diphenylboryloxyethylamine reagent, followed by PEG 4000 (5 % in ethanol, UV 365 nm.
