Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.

Acta Alimentaria 21, 131-135 (1992). TLC of seed oil and its methyl esters on silica with hexane - ether - acetic acid 79:20:1. Visualization by spraying with conc. sulfuric acid. The methyl esters of castor and sal seed oil were used for reference.
J. Chromatogr. A 776, 355-360 (1997). Test of the efficiency of 11 TLC systems for the separation of chamomile. Use of the information theory and the methods of numerical taxonomy. Discussion of the design of the most effective series of TLC system in terms of discriminating power and mean information content, having silica gel layer and chloroform - toluene 8:1 and chloroform - toluene - ethyl acetate 13:6:1 as the most favorable systems. Identification of an unknown component using minimum number of system.
International Journal of ChemTech Research 1(4), 1129-1135 (2009) The marker compound was first isolated by column chromatography over silica gel by elution with toluene - ethyl acetate 17:3. TLC of ethanolic extracts of Syzgium cumini seed on silica gel with toluene - ethyl acetate 17:3. The hRf value of the marker compound was 50. Densitometric evaluation in fluorescence mode at 366 nm. The method was linear in the range of 1-5 µg/band. The extract of the powdered sample contained 7.4 % of the marker compound.
