The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords

J. of Natural Products 51, 249-256 (1988). TLC of eight phenylpropenyl esters on silica with hexane - ether 70:30. Detection under UV or by charring with sulfuric acid-dichromate solution at 150°C. Also GC. Three new compounds identified.
Bull. Chinese Trad. Med (Zhongyao Tongbao) 13, 33-35 (1988). TLC in different solvent systems. Quantification by densitometry at 225 nm.
Planta Med. 55, 564-656 (1989). TLC of armillaricin on silica with dichloromethane - 95% ethanol 98:2 and petrol ether - diethyl ether 7:3. Detection with vanillin - sulfuric acid reagent.
J. Agric. Food. Chem. 42, 703-713 (1994). TLC of friedelin and the triterpenone fraction (e.g. ß-amyrin acetate, 24-methylenecycloarterenol) on silica with benzene or with hexane - methanol - ethyl acetate 95:10:5.
Planta Med. 63, 347-351 (1997). TLC on silica with toluene - ethyl acetate - formic acid 5:4:1. Detection with anisaldehyde/sulfuric acid reagent to afford reddish purple spots. Determination of the hemolytic activity by pouring blood agar solution on the surface of the TLC plate. Excellent separation system for closely related triterpene derivatives and in situ determination of the hemolytic activity.
Planta med. 66, 585-587 (2000). TLC of hirsutolide, dihydrohirsutolide, dichlorodimethyldihydrohirsutolide, and loliolide on silica gel with petroleum ether - ethyl acetate 7:3; 1:1, and chloroform - acetone 7:3. Visualization by spraying with 40% sulfuric acid and heating at 110°C for 2-3 min.
Evaluation of their effects on the reversal of multidrug resistance. Planta med. 70, 45-49 (2004). TLC of i. a. portlandicine (2a,5a,14a,17a-tetraacetoxy-3ß-benzoyloxy-15ß-hydroxy-9-oxoparaliane), 1ß,5a,14a,17a-tetraacetoxy-3ß-benzoyloxy-15-ß-hydroxy-9-oxo-paraliane, and oleanolic acid on silica gel with dichloromethane - methanol 99:1 by 3-fold development and 49:1 as well as chloroform by 5-fold development. Visualization under UV light at 254 nm and by spraying with sulfuric acid - acetic acid - water 1:20:4 followed by heating.
