The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications

J. Microchem. 35 112-119 (1987). TLC of urea, thiourea, selenourea, 9H-xanthene, thioxanthene, selenoxanthene, xanthone, thioxanthone, selenoxanthone on silica with 20 resp. 25 different solvents. Visualization with 6 different reagents, in particular by spraying with conc. sulfuric acid. Determination of optimum separation systems.
J. of Natural Products 53, 1297-1301 (1990). TLC of various gallotannins from Quercus lusitanica on silica with benzene – ethylformate – formic acid 1:7:1, benzene – acetone 3:1 or benzene – ethanol 9:1 and on cellulose with 2% formic acid. Detection under UV 366 nm and by spraying with 2% FeCl3 in ethanol or sodium nitrite/formic acid. Also column chromatography.
Phytochemistry 31, 4125-4128 (1992). TLC of polyphenols from olive oil mill waste waters on silica with ethyl acetate - methanol - benzene 3:1:6 and on RP-18 silica with water - acetonitrile 4:1. Detection followed by 3% phosphomolibdic acid in methanol. RP-TLC analysis allowed the identification of catechol, 4-methylcatechol and other related polyphenols.
J. AOAC Int. 78, 115-117 (1995). TLC of 1,8-cineole and essential oils on silica with petrol ether - chloroform 7:3. Detection by spraying i.a. with 4-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde - sulfuric acid reagent and heating at 100 °C for 5 min. Quantification by densitometry at 670 nm.
Phytochemical Analysis 9, 71-74 (1998). Separation of a complex mixture of neolignans by reversed phase prep. TLC on RP-18 with 40% aqueous methanol. Final purification by prep. TLC on neutral alumina with multiple developments with ethyl acetate - petroleum ether 1:3.
Planta med. 65, 74-76 (1999). Peparative TLC of 15 lignans (i. a. gomisin N, A, B, K3, J, L2, benzoylisogomisin O, angeloylgomisin H, sigloylgomisin P, schisandrin, schisantherin, licarin A, D, machiline G, GERI-BP001/M) on silica gel with 20 - 40% ethyl acetate - hexane.
Planta med. 68, 1066-1071 (2002). TLC of (-)-epicatechin, (+)-catechin, procyanidin-B2, and procyanidin-C1 on silica gel with ethyl acetate - acetic acid - formic acid - water 75:2:3:20. Detection by UV light at 254 and 366 nm and by spraying with vanillin-sulfuric acid reagent (1 % vanillin in methanol and 5 % sulfuric acid in ethanol).
