Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Acta Pharmaceutica Hungarica 64, 63-66 (1994). TLC of oxytetracycline on silica. Predevelopment with saturated aqueous disodium ethylenediamine-tetraacetate solution followed by development with chloroform - methanol - water 65:25:5. Quantification by densitometry at 254 nm.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 9, 459-461 (1996). HPTLC of amikacin (6-O-(3-amino-3-deoxy-a-D-glucopyranosyl) 4-O-(6-amino-6-deoxy-a-D-glucopyranosyl)-1-N-[(2S)-4-amino-2-hydroxybutyryl]-2-deoxy-D-streptamine) on silica with methanol - 25% NH3 - chloroform 10:10:1. After drying derivatization by immersion into 0.5% ninhydrin in n-butanol for exactly 1 s. Quantification by densitometry at 498 nm. Limit of detection and limit of quantification were 200 ng and 800 ng, respectively. RSD 1.22-1.49%.
infected cotton lint by HPLC - UV/FL. J. Agric. Food Chem. 46, 1071-1075 (1998). TLC of kojic acid and derivatives on cellulose with formic acid - ethyl methyl ketone - tert. butanol - water 3:6:8:3. Detection under UV 254 and 366 nm. After elution, lyophilisation and HPLC analysis.
1. The gram-positive test bacterium Bacillus subtilis. J. Planar Chromatogr. 15, 132-137 (2002). Study to determine optimum conditions for culture of a test microbe Bacillus subtilis enabling the authors to establish its use for direct bioautography. It was found that a '5-9-h' broth culture of B. subtilis was suitable. A much shorter incubation time (4-8 h) was sufficient for TLC plates instead of the original 18 h in a previous study. One additional advantage is the possibility to use TLC plates coated with sorbents other than silica gel. TLC of cefazolin on silica gel, aluminium oxide, cellulose, and polyamide.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 18, 455-459 (2005). HPTLC of erythromycin, troleandomycin (oleandomycin triacetate), tylosin, rifamycin B, and rifampicin on silica gel and on RP-18 in a presaturated chamber with wide-ranging mixtures containing 0 to 100 % esters or ketones in dimethyl sulfoxide or hexamethyldisiloxane. Detection by spraying with a mixture of concentrated sulfuric acid and methanol 1:4 followed by heating at 120 °C for 10 min. Chromatographic retention data and a possible retention mechanism are discussed.

Acta Scientiarum 37, 367-374 (2015). HPTLC of ochratoxin A from Aspergillus carbonarius on silica gel with ethyl acetate - toluene - 90 % formic acid 5:4:1. Qualitative determination under UV light at 366 nm.
Method for the analysis of aflatoxins, ochratoxin A, zearalenone, vomitoxin and secalonic acid D. J.A.O.A.C. 67, 963-967 (1984). TLC of aflatoxins on silica with ether - methanol - water 96:3:1 and of ochratoxin with toluene - acetic acid 95:5. Quantification by fluorescence measurement. Minimum detectable amount for aflatoxins: less than 0.5 ng/g; ochratoxin: l0 ng/g.
J.A.O.A.C. 68, 839- 842 (1985). Rapid TLC procedure for mycotoxin determination on silica with various solvent combinations (two-dimensional). Detection by viewing under longwave UV light and spraying with various spray reagents. Assay by visual comparison with standards.
