Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS
Our CCBS database includes more than 11,000 abstracts of publications. Perform your own detailed search of TLC/HPTLC literature and find relevant information.
The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:
- Full text search: Enter a keyword, e.g. an author's name, a substance, a technique, a reagent or a term and see all related publications
- Browse and search by CBS classification: Select one of the 38 CBS classification categories where you want to search by a keyword
- Keyword register: select an initial character and browse associated keywords
- Search by CBS edition: Select a CBS edition and find all related publications
Registered users can create a tailor made PDF of selected articles throughout CCBS search – simply use the cart icon on the right hand of each abstract to create your individual selection of abstracts. You can export your saved items to PDF by clicking the download icon.
Biomed Chromatogr. 7, 315-316 (1993). TLC of norepinephrine, serotonine and dopamine in rat brain on silica with dichloromethane - acetone - ethyl acetate - methanol 140:60:4:1. Detection by spraying with ethylene diamine - methanol - 0.5% potassium ferricyanide 10:40:10, and incubating for 7 min. at 60°C. Quantification by fluorodensitometry 415/>495 nm.
Asian Journal of Chemistry 22(8), 5951-5955 (2010). TLC on silica gel with cyclohexane - methanol - ethyl acetate - 25 % ammonia 10:3:6:1. The hRf value was 7 for atenolol and 69 for nifedipine. Densitometric evaluation at 230 nm. The linearity was in the range of 3-21 µg/band for atenolol and 1.2-8.4 µg/band for nefidipine. The recovery was 100.7 % for both drugs. The method was found suitable for analysis of the combined dosage form of atenolol and nefidipine without interference of excipients.
HPTLC-UV densitometry
Food Addit. Contam. 31, 15-20 (2014). HPTLC of sibutramine in food supplements and soluble beverages on silica gel with toluene - methanol 9:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 225 nm. The hRF value for sibutramine was 53. Linearity was in the range of 78-3020 ng/zone. The method was sensitive to detect 0.3 mg of sibutramine per capsule of food supplement and showed comparable results with those obtained with HPTLC-UV and HPLC-MS.
J. of Plant Physiology 133, 299-303 (1988). TLC of cynamide and its metabolites on silica with acetonitrile - NH3 (25%) 95:5 and butanol - acetic acid - water 4:1:1.
Chinese J. Chromatogr. (Sepu) 14, 317-318 (1996). TLC on silica with dichloromethane - methanol 10:1. Detection by exposure to iodine vapor. Identification of dichloroacetamide compounds by comparison of the Rf values.
method for determination of amygdalin
J. Liq. Chromatogr. Relat. Technol. 40, 297-303 (2017). HPTLC of amygdalin on RP-18 with acetonitrile – water 1:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 210 nm. The hRF value for amygdalin was 60. Linearity was between 2.5 and 50 μg/zone. LOD and LOQ were 1 and 4 μg/zone, respectively. The intermediate precision was <2 % (n=3). Recovery rate ranged from 99.9 to 100.6 %.
J. Chromatogr. 262, 451-454 (1983). TLC of polyamines on silica with a) butanol - acetic acid -pyridine -water 3:3:2:1, b) butanol - acetic acid -pyridine - formaldehyde 3:3:2:1, and on C8-silica and cellulose with isopropanol - HCl-water 8:3:2. Detection with ninhydrin. Detection of spermine and thermospermine by thin-layer chromatography with a solvent system containing formaldehyde. Di- and polyamines, detected in a variety of living cells, can also be separated by a combination of the three TLC systems described here.
J. Chromatogr. 541, 480-482 (1991). Description of a new, selective method for the detection of o-phenylenediamine and some of its derivatives on TLC plates by treating the chromatograms with Me trichloromethylacetimidate and exposing to pyridine vapor. Detection limits, between 80 and 2000 ng.
