The Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service CCBS contains all abstracts of CBS issues beginning with CBS 51. The database is updated after the publication of every other CBS edition. Currently the Cumulative CAMAG Bibliography Service includes more than 11'000 abstracts of publications between 1983 and today. With the online version you can perform your own detailed TLC/HPTLC literature search:

J. Chromatogr. 463, 139-145 (1989). Description of a new quantification method, laser pyrolysis, for TLC without the need of visualization process in detecting any organic compound. Use of 2 amino acids, 2 pesticides as test samples. Complete analysis time less than 20 min. Comparison of sensitivity and linearity with densitometry. This technique combines the advantage of the separation power of TLC and GC detection methods. Detection limits, 100 ng for phenylalanine with FID and 20 ng for methoxychlor with ECD.
A new high performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) method for the analysis of liver and crop samples in suspected poisoning cases. J. Liq. Chrom. & Rel. Technol. 22, 1547-1559 (1999). HPTLC of imidacloprid and primary metabolite 6-chloronicotinic acid on silica gel with chloroform - acetone - methanol 23:1:1 for imidacloprid determination and a mixture of acidified chloroform - dichloroethene - methanol 13:1:10 for imidacloprid and chloronicotinic acid determination with chamber saturation. Densitometry at 275 nm. Detection limit between 0.25 and 0.5 µg/g. New repeatable, reproducible and sensitive quantitative TLC procedure.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 29, 429-434 (2016). HPTLC of chlorpyrifos (1) insecticide and its metabolite 3,5,6-trichloropyridinol (2) in visceral samples on silica gel with n-heptane – acetone 1:1. Quantitative determination by absorbance measurement at 300 nm. The hRF values for (1) and (2) were 64 and 54, respectively. Linearities were between 0.5 and 4 μg/zone for (1) and 0.05 and 0.4 μg/zone for (2). The intermediate precisions were below 2.9 % (n=3). The LOQs were 1.5 μg/zone for (1) and 0.15 μg/zone for (2). Recoveries ranged between 84 and 91 % for (1) and 80 and 93 % for (2).
Hungarian Scientific Instruments 61, 23-26 (1986). HPTLC and OPTLC of aflatoxins G1, G2, B1 and B2 on silica with ethyl acetate - chloroform - THF 15.10:1. Densitometry by fluorescence 366/>440 nm.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 3, 354-356 (1990). HPTLC of 18 organophosphorus pesticides on silica with hexane - acetone 3:1, 9:1, 4:1, and benzene - acetone 33:17. Detection by spraying with a solution of 10 mg esterase-1, B. subtilis, in 10 mL sodium hydroxide - boric acid buffer, pH 9, and placing the plate in a moist chamber horizontally for 30 min at 20 - 23°C, then spraying with a solution of 10 mg of 1-thionaphthyl acetate in 10 mL of acetone, and with a solution of 20 mg of 2,2'-azo(1-naphthol-8-chloro-3,6-disulfonic acid) 4,4’diphenyl disulfide in 10 mL water Assessment by visual comparison with standards.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 14, 210-212 (2001). HPTLC of monocrotophos and other organophosphorus insecticides (malathion, ethyl parathion, methylparathion, fenitrothion fenthion, phorate, dimethoate, phosphamidon, dichlorvos), organochlorine insecticides, carbamate insecticides, pyrethroid insecticides on silica gel in a pre-saturated chamber with chloroform - acetone 7:3. After drying the plate is sprayed with a 20% anhydrous sodium carbonate solution then with 0.5% chloranil (in acetone) reagent. The reagent is selective for monocrotophos among other insecticides.
J. Planar Chromatogr. 29, 477-479 (2016). HPTLC of baygon (1), carbaryl (2) and carbofuran (3) on silica gel with hexane ‒ ethyl acetate 9:1. Detection by spraying with 10 % sodium hydroxide solution followed by o-toluidine reagent (5 g o-toluidine dissolved in 14 mL HCl and filled up to 100 mL with distilled water) combined with 10 % sodium nitrate. The hRF values were 48 (orange) and 51 (faint violet) for (1), 46 (orange) for (2) and 46 (violet) and 49 (violet) for (3). _x000D_
J. Chromatogr. 653, 181-183 (1993). TLC of carbaryl on silica with hexane - acetone 4:1. Detection by spraying with alkaline phenylhydrazine hydrochloride reagent. Detection limit ca. 100 ng/spot. Discussion of the interference with other carbamate insecticides, etc.
